I need to generate a DDL file from a .cls class that already exists, the idea is to create a mirror table in SQL. Is it possible to do this export or do I need to do the CREATE TABLE manually?

Is it possible to import a Cube from SQLServer (format .abf) in a Cache?

I have an .abf file and I want to open it in Cache. Is it possible?

I want to override getter for a serial property as a whole, because getter code depends on a class in which a property is defined.

Let's say I have CS.Serial as a serial class:

Class CS.Serial Extends %SerialObject
{
Property Year As %Integer;

Property Month As %Integer;
}

And CS.Persistent as a persistent class:

I am inserting rows in a table. This table is appearing in all namespace as I did global mapping.

So once I run insert command from a method, it insert the rows. When I run the same insert command from other namespace, it replace the existing data in table.

Insert command is same in all namespace but the data I m inserting is different.

Background: We have our own SQL map that predates InterSystems'. A program writes an XML file for each table map class as $system.OBJ.Export would. $system.OBJ.LoadDir loads the XML files into .cls files.

The reason is a long story, but we need to update parameter EXTENTSIZE (only) in existing classes. This does not seem to happen. As a test I used $system.OBJ.Export to make an XML file and edited EXTENTSIZE in the two places it appears in the XML:

I do not really want to change TranDate to %String. How can I import "4/10/2021" into %Date property?

In my project, I am calling a store proc on third party database. I am using SQL Gateway and ODBC. Everything is working fine until the store proc changed. In store proc they have changed the return alias name for a column. In Ensemble Snapshot I am not seeing the modified alias name until I restarted the whole Healthshare instance.

Here is my question, is there any other way? We do not want to take the instance down if it happens after we go live.

Hi, after installed Healthshare 2015.2, all the tables previously correctly listed working with Healtshare 2014.1 are NOT listed anymore. TrakCare tables are not listed in the catalogue, nor by the WinSQL Intellisense.

Does anybody know a trick or have a hint to resume this useful functionality back?

Hi, I want to INSERT a customerID and customerName to a table if the customerID does not exist. Or UPDATE if they've changed their name.
I've reviewed the documentation (https://docs.intersystems.com/irislatest/csp/docbook/Doc.View.cls?KEY=RS...) and have confused myself with the INSERT OR UPDATE statement. Rather than using two individual statements , is there a way to get it in one?

What I have at the moment doesn't do anything. In fact it errors.

Without installing Kerberos has anyone Authenticated a SQL JDBC connection? Currently we are using local SQL Accounts to sign onto External SQL Databases, but we are being told that we need to switch to Service accounts that live on a Active Directory Domain.

I wrote with a little help a ZAUTHENICATE to do the Authentication for Ensemble, can I use something like that to connect to an External SQL Database using a Service Account on a Active Directory Domain?

When i use &sql(SELECT ......) in Cache I can watch the generated code
In the generated .int code and see what is happening.
Just with my normal rights

Now in IRIS I have just 4 line calling some class %sqlcq.***
With enough rights i find there is no such class but the generated .int routine
%sqlcq.IRISAPP.xEZgUjdXCCgQdZQPpRdOye1Ci2ue.1
That holds the code that i had in my .int on Cache

Can i switch this back somehow ?
