Is there a way to read JSON and transform it (in DTL) by using a VDOC of this JSON (without transform it to internal message) like I can do with HL7 or XML?
If it possible, I guess that I should have a schema of the JSON so the second question is how to build a schema for JSON and load it to the IRIS?

Hello, I want to show a fellow DC member how to convert JSON file into HL7 message. I personally do not work with HL7. I set up a production with EnsLib.File.PassthroughService. It passes Ens.StreamContainer to BPL process. I call a DTL to transform StreamContainer to HL7 message. I run into an error:

I'm trying to make a REST API call in JSON format. When using the example in the class reference documentation the getJSON method in the %Net.Http class throws the error <METHOD DOES NOT EXIST> on a %Clone() method in the %LIbrary.DynamicObject class. I even changed the parameter to a JSON string to no avail. The code will then fail on the %Compose method (examples below). My workaround is to use the %Net.HttpRequest functionality. Is there another workaround to this?
What is the best way to create an HL7 message from JSON input file?
We have JSON file available with data required for building the HL7 message . I am trying to use a standard file/FTP Business service to pick up the file and convert the input %FileCharacterStream into a dynamic Object and use the stand JSON features to read /process the data and build the HL7 message.
Is there any other better way to do this? or any standard built-in functionality available in HealthShare?
I have created a package that offers a utility to load a Global into JSON object and reverse to create a Global from this type of JSON object. Efficient refers to the structure created. Only Globals nodes containing data are presented in the generated JSON object.

I enjoy the challenge of being in a contest. Currently I participate in InterSystems IRIS with REST API Programming Contest. My idea for this contest was to create an app to help me keep track of tasks for my Status Reports. I started with the template provided by Evgeny Shvarov.
