I am actually new to IRIS, and we are DevOps/PowerShell/Ansible team. We want to achieve certain administration tasks like updating Memory, Heap size, Lock size etc., in Management Portal through PowerShell. Is there any way i can achieve this without out logging in into Management portal. Off course, we have namespace, user id and password details. We have installed ODBC drive and able to update tables in the IRIS database.

Hi,
i got 2 server with iris instances on them:

srv1
irisinstance1 port 51773/52773
irisinstance2 port 51774/52774

srv2
irisinstance3 port 51773/52773
irisinstance4 port 51774/52774

Both of them have apps published on an external apache on port 443 and i would like to publish irisinstance1 and irisinstance2 on port 443 of srv2.

Something like https://srv2/mgmt1/csp/sys/UtilHome.csp and similar to mgmt2.

I've tried with proxypass without luck.

How can i do that? Is there a guide?

Table Partitioning cuts deep into the core of IRIS relational data management, so we want to make sure we get things right through working with a few engaged customers who can provide feedback on the initial deliverables, and fine-tune as needed.

Occasionally, in VSCode, compile errors stop displaying. I'll be getting errors on compile all along (expected, and it compiles while saving using CTRL+S), until they'll suddenly stop. I haven't found any solution, including restarting VSCode and restarting my user session in Fedora. I'm running IRIS locally on Fedora and running VSCode also on the same machine. The only solution I've found is to restart IRIS. It's a solo dev environment and relatively small, so restarting isn't anything but an annoyance.

Are there any known bugs around this or any other solutions?

Which process notify Web Gateway when to switch to secondary/mirror IRIS? I'm trying to debug a case when the web gateway doesn't know about primary IRIS failure and is trying to send request to that instance which is causing 500 error. Also, no clue why at the same time I see that GET request to /csp/bin/mirror_status.cxw will return 200 OK.

Trying to write multiple records to a file via Record Mapper from a single inbound DFT transaction with multiple FT1 segments. DTL with HL7 DFT inbound and Record Mapper outbound checks field values in both FT1 segment and PV1 segment within a "foreach" loop, and if criteria are met for a particular FT1 then the target fields in the record map are set with values from multiple segments (MSH, PID, PV1, and FT1). JSON Support in IRIS SQL

While working on getting JSON support for some Python libraries, I discovered some capabilities IRIS provided.

  • JSON_OBJECT - A conversion function that returns data as a JSON object.
  • JSON_ARRAY - A conversion function that returns data as a JSON array.
  • IS JSON - Determines if a data value is in JSON format.
  • JSON_TABLE function returns a table that can be used in a SQL query by mapping JSON.
  • JSONPath support - is a query language for querying values in JSON.

The idea for iris-user-manager

I want to deploy IRIS apps running in containers in Kubernetes with user accounts configured.

I have a %ZSTART routine which looks for an XML file with Users export data and if the %ZSTART routine finds this file, it imports it. This Users export data can be obtained by running a class method.

I have defined a task which can be scheduled or run on demand. This tasks imports user data from an XM file.

In Kubernetes I can provide a ConfigMap to stage the Users data for the %ZSTART routine.

Hi experts

I'm trying to configure an IRIS ODBC connection with "Windows NT authentication using the network login ID". I have created the System DSN as below:

and user (PROD\test) in the SQL Gateway connection

However, as the error message suggests, IRIS is trying to connect with PROD\svc_mist, rather than PROD\test configured above.
