#InterSystems IRIS for Health

Hello Everyone,

We are currently in process of implementing REST APIs using IRIS and we are also looking at using Intersystems API Manager.

Our aim is to implement a Microservices Architechture where Services are small in size, bounded by contexts, autonomously developed, and independently deployable.

We are following a spec first approach where we are first defining the API specs into Swagger Hub and using IRIS API Management Service to build the REST classes i.e. the Specification class, Dispatch class and Implementation Class.

Hi All, We have been using DeepSee which has been the integrated Analytic Dashboard built over Cache Cubes. It works fine but it's visual capabilities are limited and most probably is getting phased out. If I am not wrong, Tableau is the suggested alternative to DeepSee . It is expensive and a big and considerable shift from existing technology I wanted to get an opinion of the community as to these few key points - What other BI tools others have been using with IRIS and what have been their experience - For which tools are the best inbuilt support / api's avaialble in IRIS

I'm just wondering if anyone might have a list (or the experience to make a list) of the most often used / useful Reply Code Actions?

In the Help section of Health Connect Management Portal, it lists

'E=F' and ':?R=RF,:?E=S,:~=S,:?A=C,:*=S,:I?=W,:T?=C'

as the default options, though I'm curious if anyone else has found other codes or strings of codes useful?

I have a record map and batch class being passed to an EnsLib.RecordMap.Operation.BatchFileOperation.

They are designated as INFORMATION.FPL.Record and INFORMATION.FPL.Header

Sometimes we need to convert FHIR message to HL7 V2, e.g. to register a patient to the PACS system.
In this article, I will explain the steps to achieve the desired by using IRIS FHIR Server production.

Below are the steps we need to follow:

1. Make sure FHIRServer production is started.
2. Register Business Service with FHIRServer endpoint.
3. Define Business Processes to convert FHIR message to SDA and then Convert SDA to HL7 v2.
4. Post JSON resource to FHIRServer endpoint and get HL7 V2 response.

Let's review the steps in detail.

Step 1. Make sure FHIRServer production is started

Open the production page and make sure Production is started. In the next step, we need to make sure business service HS.FHIRServer.Interop.Service is registered with FHIRServer

FHIR Terminology Service specification describes a set of operations on CodeSystem, ValueSet and ConceptMap resources. Among those operations, the following four operations appear to be the most widely adopted ones:

Developing a partial implementation of the specification has been an effective way to explore the new FHIR framework introduced in IRIS for Health 2020.1. The implementation includes four operations listed above, and supports read and search interactions for CodeSystem and ValueSet resources.

It's important to note that the implementation uses plain ObjectScript persistent classes as source terminology tables.

While Configuring Intersystems Cache in Intersystems IRIS Health, some of the background jobs are not running.

Eg: Job for Calculator process. Is License key necessary to run the jobs? Anyother changes need to run the jobs.
