While I am not new to HL7, I am very new to Ensemble.

We have a request to change the order in which the Addenda segments are sent to the client. Right now, the global setting of the Lab system is to send the newest addenda at the top of the report, then the next oldest, and so on until we get to the final report:

Hi Guys,

I currently have a service that uses an InboundAdapter to get a JSON file and process it given that the client is pushing data to us, but now we have another client where we need to request the JSON file by sending a HTTP request then get the file and process it, kind of a Get rather than push, how can I create a service that handle that?

Has anyone had success with passing in a collections property within a SOAP request to a Soap Service in Ensemble? Please reply with how you set up that collections property. I am able to successfully send a SOAP request correctly containing the elements of the collection property to Cache, as seen in a custom soap log file which I am using to troubleshoot. But the collection property in the Ensemble request is not getting serialized, meaning MyContainers has nothing.

My.Request consists of a property, MyContainers, which can have 0 or more Containers (My.Container)

Hi Guys

I'm using the below to populate a tree to just show the root with a folder icon but whenever I click on a folder it loops back to the original folder, how can I disable the root folder from expanding to the next, I only want to show the main opened root folder and not to go any further?

I'm trying to find a good way to control the Filename for X12 Acknowledgement files, but there doesn't seem to be a way to do that without custom coding. Here's what I figured out so far:

EnsLib.EDI.X12.Service.FileService allows you to set a Reply Target Config, which would likely be an X12 File Operation. The Service doesn’t have any settings related to the name of the Acknowledgement file though. That’s determined entirely by the Operation.

Hi all,

We have a big problem with spanish accent and special characters using Data Transformation (HL7 Messages).

We have some DT to transform HL7 messages to other type (OUL^R22 To OML^O21) so it copys the PID segment to the new one, but if in the PatienName field has any special character, the transformation stops and it not continues with the transformation.

I am configuring a SOAP HL7 Receiver to handle HL7 Query messages.

I have set up a new class based on EnsLib.SOAP.Service and configured (correctly I hope) the parameters needed. I have also amended the OnProcessInput Method skeleton provide to send messages on to the Business Process needed.

I am struggling to work out what is needed in the Web Methods and how to create them.

Any help with this would be much appreciated especially examples that I can adapt for what I need.

I ike to create schema independent DTL to add FTS segment to the end of a message. The problem that I see if do I need to loop each segment to find the last segment ? Or is there a better way to do this?

Hi,

I have a process in which at the end i produce a zen report and then i need to send it to the appropriate person.

I've used "GenerateReportToStream" method.

after that i set a context var of type %stream.Object and send to an operation that's send's out the email.

the email is received with the attachment, but upon opening the error is "Cannot display (fileName) is of invalid format".

If i need to attach or show something please let me know.

Should be easy, right? My DEV environment is working just find and sending out alerts via email, however my TST and PRD environments are showing "ERROR #6070: SMTP Send failed" on the Ens.Alert email operation. Same configuration settings on the operation, same SMTP server being addressed (I confirmed that I can ping the mail server from DEV, TST, and PRD boxes) and same port#. I turned on "Log Trace Events" but don't see anything additional in the logs. Am I missing something?

Let me know if you have any thoughts.

TCP adaptor + SSH Tunnel

Greetings.

We have one vendor who requires us to send data using TCP

through an SSH port forwarding tunnel that is set up in advance.

UNIX scripts maintain this, and the Ensemble interface uses a TCP Adapter.

I was thinking that Ensemble could maintain the SSH tunnel,

which would improve our detecting of issues.

Has anyone done something like this?

I see that the class %Net.SSH.Session has a method ForwardPort,

but it doesn't stand up the tunnel by itself. Instead, it appears

Hi, all.

I know this is basic, and I think I have done this before, but I haven't been successful this time.

In a Routing Rule, I would like to take the value of MSH:9.2, see if that value does NOT exist in a lookup table, and ultimately return out of the rule if true.

So, if my message is an "A05", but "A05" is not in a particular lookup table, then it evaluates to 1, and I execute my action of "Return" and the rule ceases processing.

Is there something incorrect with my sample code below?

We have a custom FTP Service , and custom FTP adapter . Customization is just to find a duplicate file and for giving specific dynamic file spec pattern.
While running and polling for files, we are getting this error. Could you please help ? What's the issue and how to resolve it ?
