I have a class extends %Persistent & %XML.Adaptor

It has 100 properties for example

Now I do intend to create a xml schema that I can import in Ensemble->XMLSchemas

I did try to use XMLExportToString and %XMLWriter.GetXMLString

but didn't give me a proper schema. May be I am missing some small step

Slowness of the 'Source' and 'Target' parameters in the (portal) Message Viewer is caused by the Bitmap indices of Ens.MessageHeader.

Running the 'bitmap index clean up' routine for Ens.MessageHeader will fix the issue.

I checked with WRC and they advised:

If the system does not stop for 24 hours, old journal files will be deleted at 0:30 according to the "Journal file deletion settings".

A possible cause of journal files remaining that are older than the "Journal file deletion settings" is that there are transactions that remain open.

In that case, you will be able to delete the journal file by searching for processes executing transactions and finalizing the transactions.

Ever noticed that the Type column of the Web Applications page in the Security section of Management Portal is showing you redundant information?

I have a simple SQL service that does a simple select from an SQL database. After the select, I do an update to set the ProcessedFlag to "Y" for yes, so my next pass doesn't select records already processed. The service works fine, except when it's done I get the error below, anybody know what is causing this error?

I need to split a large XMLfile into multiple smaller ones, grouping by an element multiple iterations deep.

In XSLT 2 I use for-each-group group-by, which perfectly does the trick.

I wonder if it is possible to do the grouping in DTL?

Just wondering if anyone had got this working.

In the documentation it says to set the username and password properties of the connection object but these properties don't exist and without authentication I can't connect to the MQ queue.

Any help would be greatly appreciated,

Several Ensemble adapters have SERVICEINPUTCLASS and/or SERVICEOUTPUTCLASS parameters defined.

For example:

Hi all,

I am looking at a task which involves processing an XML file. Picking the file up from a folder (c:\test.xml) reading the data out of the XML and archiving the xml after it has been processed.

I was wondering what the best way of doing this would be?

I have got as far as creating a service in Ensemble. The Service I have created uses the class name EnsLib.XML.Object.Service.FileService.

Any advice or tutorials/guides would be much appreciated.

I have a SQL procedure that I call into and it does some processing and passes back any data validations that fail. I would like to receive those message in my operation and act upon the message received .The question is how do you get output messages from a stored procedure I am using MsSQL 2012 with ensemble
