I'm pretty new to ensemble.I'm working on a BPL process where I need to retrieve a result set from an SQL activity, loop over the results, and call a web service. I'm having trouble passing the request parameter(Labtype) into the SQL query for the WHERE condition .Can any one suggest how to loop over the result set as well.Any suggestions on how I can achieve it?

Is there any possibility to implementing a custom TCP Operation (or any other possible way) which can enable/disable (readonly) the controllers such as ipaddress and port. This need to be done based on the role of the user logged in to the management portal.

Appreciate if anyone can provide sample code around this...

We have in DB two books, first is loaned because it has the Friend ID, and the other is in the shelf.

I execute a class query to get all loaned books:

We need to consume files (right now using FileInboundAdapter) with a strict order.

Example:

File order will be A, B, C. Suppose A, B and C will be the names of the files.

Then B will never be consumed before A or after C.

How deal with this? Any idea?

Looking for some suggestion on what the community has been setting Confirm Complete to? The testing I did when this was set to size is way too slow at around 1 message for 2 seconds. Is it safe to set this value to None? Would I get half messages if the sending system didn't compete writing the message.

Is there any out of the box capability in Ensmeble to remove an FHS segment from a batch file? We have a client that is creating a batch of HL7 messages and they insert an FHS but there is no trailing FTS.

We are hoping to avoid custom COS code to handle this scenario.

I've set DEFAULTMODE ="xlsx" in my report to be exported to Excel but it's exporting as .zip, is there something I need to add or set or maybe MS Excel to be installed in the server?

I want to grant access only to the Message Viewer page to an specific user, in all Namespaces. I have created a rol with this privileges:

%Ens_MessageContent
%Ens_MessageHeader
%Ens_MessageTrace
%Ens_Portal

But if I want to see the list of messages, I have to grant SELECT access to the Ens.MessageHeader and Ens.MessageBody tables of each Namespace.

Is there anyway to grant access to this tables in all Namespaces at a time, even if new ones are created?

Is there a way of comparing code running on two Ensemble servers - ideally excluding certain types of difference?

We heard from a customer who wanted to display a version number as a read-only production setting. During the build on the build server, this version number is added to the Production class. This works fine, and the Version is displayed in the Portal, but the customer wanted to write protect it, so the enduser can’t change it. The customer had defined the setting like this:

Property Version As %String;
Parameter SETTINGS = "Version:Info";

We advised the customer to define SETTINGS like this instead:

Parameter SETTINGS = "Version:Alerting:label"

My segment is not getting set with the new value though It goes into the if statement. Am I doing something wrong?
