Introduction

This article is intended to be a simple tutorial on how to create ODBC connections and working with them, since I found starting with them a little bit confused, but I had amazing people to take my hand and walk me through it, and I think everyone deserves that kind of help too.
I'm going to divide each little part in sections, so feel free to jump to the one you feel the need to, although I recommend reading everything.

How to track your activity on DC

Hey Developers,

If you wish to know how you're doing in the Community and see your stats, you don't need to scroll through all your posts in your profile (though it is also possible). You can use the Online Analytics Dashboard. In it you can see your own detailed statistics for the current week, month, and all time, including:

  • number of views, likes, comments, followers
  • timeline graphics of views, likes, actions with your posts, comments
  • a table containing info about views, comments, and likes for your every post

Recently I needed to restore a version of a production class, which was overwritten by compilation and running UpdateProduction. As the correct version was unavailable in the source control, I used journals to restore the data. Journals store a plethora of information about what's happening in the system and are quite a powerful tool. This article explains how to work with journals to extract the data you require.

      Abstract

A global provider of mobile telecommunications software tested the performance of InterSystems Caché and Oracle as the database in a simulated data mart application. They found Caché to be 41% faster than Oracle at building a data mart. When testing the response time to SQL queries of the data mart, Caché's performance ranged from 1.8 times to 513 times faster than Oracle.

As we said yesterday... our EMPI can receive data from multiple sources, REST, HL7 messaging, etc. But it is possible that the standard fields are not enough and we want to expand the patient information to help discriminate and uniquely identify them. How could we customize patient data? Modifying the standard classes to our liking? NOOOOO!!!! Well, a little yes, but not like crazy, because if we modify standard classes carelessly we may find that in a future update we lose all these modifications.

If people are going to use the web interface, they need to be able to quickly find new content or material they are looking for.

Right now it appears as though the only sort is based on the last comment. But if there are threads that a user is not interested in, you have to sift through those again and again lookinf for new threads.

Please make it easier to filter and sort a forum so that information is easier for people to browse.
