Hi in mumps, we have B "S". This way one can step command by command. How can we do this with vscode? F10 only step to the next line.

Say, if I have a line like

S A=1 S B=2 S C=A+B

I cannot step within the line. But with "S", one can.

Do you have any idea?

When we create a FHIR repository in IRIS, we have an endpoint to access information, create new resources, etc. But there are some resources in FHIR that probably we wont have in our repository, for example, Binary resource (this resource returns a document, like PDF for example).

I have created an example that when a Binary resource is requested, FHIR endpoint returns a response, like it exists in the repository.

Whenever I try to load up any ruleset, the ruleset displays an unhappy face like this:

This has only recently started, when opening up the rule editor in another browser e.g. Chrome, the problem disappears.

Hi. In a project I'm involved in I need to connect to a MongoDB database, read some data and store it in some internal table.

I'm wondering what's the best way to connect to MongoDB, as it seams to me there's no native Intersystems adapter.

Did anyone have handled such a scenario?

We are planning to move our system from windows to Linux and I never used Linux before and all I know that is another operating system, so the new server has Linux which looks like just terminal session like Dos and as I ran "uname -r" command to check for the version in it shows some like "6.1.112-124.190.amzn2023.x86_64".

So for the available IRIS distribution and can only found versions for Ubuntu and Red Heat, so do I have to either install one of them to be able to install & run IRIS?

When developing productions there are many places that we input endpoint information (IP/port) especially when there are dozens of operations going to the same environment. What later happens is that the IP changes and we have to then go into each operation and update the IP.

Our challenge for today is to create a function that receives a string as argument and returns the total number of smiling faces or happy faces.
Each smiley face must have one smiling mouth, which should be marked with ), ], }, D or >.
A smiley face can have a pair of eyes but it does not have to. Valid characters for eyes are :, ;, 8, B or =.
A nose is optional, and can be represented these characters: -, ^, c, o and ~.

Valid smiley face examples:

    :) :D ;-D :~) :‑) :-] =)    
    :] :-> :> 8-) :D 8‑D )
    8) :-} :} :o) :c) :^) =]
