Hi!

We need to use a bash script under Linux in order to export a namespace's clases (*.cls), project (*.prj), *.inc and all related stuff (except generated and mapped clases). All these elements must be stored on a XML file.

We need to use a bash script under Linux to import and compile previously exported XML file (from Studio, Management Portal, or Export Script) .

Can anyone help us to develop them?

In the WRC, we often see customers contact us because they are having been provided a .PPK file for use with SFTP connections, but they don’t know how to use that key within InterSystems IRIS. I needed to pass through a file with Ensemble but the operation wasn't writing some filenames as given because the EnsLib.File.PassthroughOperation 'sanitizes' filenames removing characters that are not valid on some operating
systems;

Restore Database issue

Hi Everybody,

I'm trying to restore database to a 2016.2.2.853 caché version but i've some problems ...

Into my backup file, i've 6 namespaces. After use the Do ^DBREST and configure all namespace into the portal, I can only reach 2 of 6.

when I write zn "blabla" into the terminal, i've got this error message :

ZN "blabla"
^
<DIRECTORY> *r:\data\blabla


Of course, Database and namespace are correctly define.

Transform custom healthcare messages to SDA

EHR (Electronic Health Record) systems are modeled in a proprietary format/structure and are not based on market models such as FHIR or HL7. Some of these systems can interoperate data in a proprietary format for FHIR and other market models, but others can not. Recently we have exercised this with a partner. It may be helpful for others as well.

The basic functionality is to connect to SAP through SAPJCo (Supporting SAPJCo 3.07+).

As a first step have a production with at least two items of the following type:

  • EnsLib.JavaGateway.Service
  • EnsLib.SAP.Operation

Configure the settings for the Java Gateway and the SAP Operation accordingly. And start the production.

The REST webservice works perfectly when run on SOAP UI. This end point server is an https site that uses basic authentication (uname and pwd). But when I run the request through an Enslib.Rest.Operation using a configured SSL and stored credentials, I get an "unauthorized" error, unless I explicitly hard code the password in the operation class. HS Version is 2014.1 .

I have 2 questions. Pardon me, they are both related!!

When running the built in Ensemble Purge task (Ens.Util.Tasks.Purge) there are three parameters DaysToKeep, BodiesToo, and KeepIntegrity. This article focuses on the KeepIntegrity boolean parameter, but more information about running this task can be found here:

KeepIntegrity determines which Ensemble Messages are marked for deletion within the time specified by DaysToKeep.

Traditional Caché Objectscript has the multi-dimensional array as its main form of complex data structure and the $order command as the main means of traversing said data structures. But newer versions of Caché ObjectScript also have data structures that are direct parallels of what languages such as JavaScript provide, in the form of %DynamicObject and %DynamicArray. These have an easy to use iterator feature via the %GetIterator method, and even a handy built-in literal syntax for constructing new objects.

Hi ,

From the below code, we are able to import the class file to the namespace ( specified path is C:\temp\distr )

I have a class file and a folder in the above specified path. When i run the code, it is importing only the class file but not the class files present in folder.

I would like to know is there any code to import the class files present in folder as well.

I try to run the cmd command in the studio terminal, but i am getting the <NOTOPEN> Error.

Even ZF(-1) also not working. Any help, Please!!!

Note: i restart the Cache instance service with full privilege

Error:<NOTOPEN>

This command working on my PC, but on server throws error.

Avoid $c(0) in globals

Good Morning,

I have this question for a long time. When I make an insert by SQL from an external application in the fields of type %String, if they are empty, it writes the character $c(0) in the global.

Is there a way so that if an Insert is received in a field of type% String with null value instead of the $ c (0) it leaves it empty?:

This should be an overview over a subject that pops up over several places in online documentation mostly as remarks and never as dedicated chapter.

Once upon a time ... No it's not a fairy tale.
In the beginning of Caché (and before) you had your partition to run your code. Part of that partition was a space with all your local variables nicely sorted by %,A,..Z,a,...z
