I am calling a business rule from one of my business processes and I noticed that when the business rule reports an error that the business process calling that rule just stops without any errors. Resultingly it fails to trigger the scope - catch-all construction that is surrounding the business rule. I know that it is possible to view the errors in business rules in the business rules log, but I really like to push an error message to Ens.Alert or something similar when my business rules report an error. How do I achieve that?

During some consulting activity, I found at the client's site CACHEAUDIT database of more than 100 GB size. The reason was simple: several processes produced a great amount of %System/%System/OSCommand audit records due to frequent external calls ($zf(-100,...)). As it is well-known, those events can be easily disabled systemwide, while this can be hardly considered secure enough. Reducing the number of days before audit cleanup from default 62 to some reasonable figure (e.g. 15) seems to be a better solution, but...

FQDN ?

Is there an undocumented class method that will output the FQDN?

$SYSTEM only reports the part of the name concatenated with the namespace. Checking $SYSTEM.INetInfo doesn't provide the full DNS name, only a partial value that matches $SYSTEM.

I can do a call out to the OS to get that value which seems to be the only way I can get the value.

The Ensemble doc mentions Studio and Atelier to create customer business process logic, but does not mention VS code.

The official InterSystems message is that Atelier is deprecated and putting it front and center in the interoperability doc seems like a mistake.

Maybe Studio means old Studio and VS Studio, but if so some clarification would help.

I configured a SQL inbound adapter to monitor my local Cache database.

But I got "ERROR <Ens>ErrOutConnectFailed: ODBC Connect failed for 'SAMPLES' /
'' with error ERROR #6022: Gateway failed: DSN/User Connect."

Same error if the DSN setting is blank or set to my namespace.

Question is whether SQL inbound adapter is for external database server ONLY?

Typically, I have time to review the documentation, which I'm sure is here. However, I have a workaround (TEST1) but I was wondering if anyone could assist me in advising how I would need to adapt the curly brace snippet (TEST2) to provide the same result.

Invalid Project Location

I am trying to create a routine in Atelier.

I go through and enter the necessary information but before I can save, it says I have an invalid project location.

I am not sure what this is referring to, a directory? a namespace? a website? something else? "Location" does not describe what is necessary here.

I had a screen shot but cannot seem to post it here.

Using a <FORM>

The OnLoadForm attribute calls a method but doesnt allow definition...

It seems to send pKey and accepts back pValues

Method LoadForm(pKey As %String,
                ByRef pValues As %String) As %Status

Is there any way to send more than just pKey as I need multiple values when loading the form.

FHIR SQL Builder: step by step

The FHIR standard establishes a powerful but flexible data model that can smoothly adapt to the complexities of operational healthcare data management. This flexibility comes at the cost of a data model with many tables and relationships, even for simple data such as the patient's record of telephone numbers, addresses, and emails. It would easily require querying 4 different tables. However, FHIR SQL Builder eliminates this problem, allowing you to create visual projections (mappings) in web wizards.

Scenario

IRIS has the likes of SQL inbound adapters for use with SQL gateways such as EnsLib.SQL.InboundAdapter to repeatedly query SQL Gateway connections. A scenario appeared as that we wanted to query an Internal database for some data but did not see an out of the box service for this.

Desired Approach

Have a Generic service that can poll internal SQL to work with downstream components.

set Property name

hi

we have a rest API that that on of the JSON object contain Property name "verify.facePosition"

we try to translate the JSON file to object with the function ##class(%ZEN.Auxiliary.jsonProvider).%ConvertJSONToObject()

how can we define the Property to "verify.facePosition" As %Boolean in the class ?

i know that with underscore i can define the property with quotation marks like this - Property "verify_facePosition" As %Boolean

Hi colleages!

This is very easy to setup a FHIR server in InterSystems IRIS for Health.

It could be even one IPM command with this package:

USER>zpm "install fhir-server"

But which FHIR portal could you recommend to use?

I used to work with this one, which is very easy to install too:

USER>zpm "install fhir-portal"

but it doesn't work at the moment and I'm not sure if its main contributors @José Pereira and @Henrique Dias plan to support it.

What do you use? What do you recommend? Ideally installable with IPM package manager. Thanks!

Toolbar with several lines of menu

In toolbar, by default, all items show on one line and when menu items do not fit on visible part of screen, invisible items hide and appear two buttons - last item and previous item.

I want, in that case, items, which do not fit on visible part of screen, go on second line. In other words, I want all items to be visible.

Is it possible to configure toolbar for behavior I want?

I programmed some server command by my own. That server commands worked fine for a long time.

Suddonly I received

Studio Action "Attempted Edit" not supported on 127.0.0.1:57772[CTAE01]

by using one of my server commands.

There is an explanation:

Error running command vscode-objectscript.serverCommands.contextOther: Running the contributed command: 'vscode-objectscript.serverCommands.contextOther' failed.. This is likely caused by the extension that contributes vscode-objectscript.serverCommands.contextOther.

Currently, I am working on a CSP application that is supposed to generate reports. Users will have varying access to said reports. To achieve that, I plan to use LDAP (because it's used in other systems where those users already exist). Documentation does not provide enough information, so I'd like a clarification:
Do I need to enable LDAP authentication for the whole Cache instance to use LDAP authentication in a single CSP application in that instance?

Hi Developers!

I stuck with one interesting problem.

For example, let's use this template repo. If you build this container A using docker-compose and then run the container it exposes REST-API which is available on:

localhost:52773/person/all

The question is how to make this REST-API accessible from another docker container B running on the same machine? E.g. with IRIS 2019.4 Community from this repo?

The problem is that for the second container localhost it's something which belongs to container B.

I think I need to set up a network between containers somehow. E.g. using docker-compose. But is there any simpler way?
