Here are some basic rules about using GIFs in posts on the InterSystems Developer Community:

I need to split existing tables from database and put some parts of them into a new namespace. I dont know where to start, other than the installer.cls file. If you can provide clear instructions i would be greatful.

Example:

I have NAMESPACE=NEWTEST and DB

The i need to take TABLES from that DB pull specific data from them and bind it to NEWTEST

I am using $Query to loop through a global.

When I use $GET to get the data all we get back is the global name.

How do you get the value of the global after you have looped.

Below is my example in terminal.

If i try w $GET(node) it returns

^FromExtraMed("A02",9220)

If i had this hardcoded it would have got the value

Native API , IRIS 2019 regression vs Cache .Net provider

1. checking the native API, with .net provider, from IS docs, I realize,

that it is not possible to wrap objectSricpt Class with .NET (C# for example) pure Class with it's methods/properties

and make pure instance syntax of: new myNetClass - as wrapper of irisClass.

as I realize, you can run .Net Class , only with .Invoke or iris.ClassMethodVoid("class.name","method")

such syntax, cannot execute event driven on proprety change, let say, with it's build in mechanizm in .Net

In the purpose of my work, I have to implement a code that will communicate with a restful server coded in JAVA.

To fulfill my task, they gave me the link to the restful server + a certificate to use + the class that's going to be sent back + the names of 2 functions:

I am having trouble sending URL encoded payload to eFax in FormData. Does anyone have experience working with the eFax? Their support is not the greatest.

I started to play with docker and InterSystems products, it's amazing, but I got the error when try to load the IAM-0.34-1-1.tar.gz image to docker:

[root@CONF-RHEL-DOCKER-IRIS-API admconf]# docker load -i IAM-0.34-1-1.tar.gz
open /var/lib/docker/tmp/docker-import-547148651/IAM/json: no such file or directory

Bellow docker and docker-compose version:

[root@CONF-RHEL-DOCKER-IRIS-API admconf]# docker --version
Docker version 19.03.2, build 6a30dfc

I set the ReplyCodeAction to E=D.

In the Operation Code i am throwing an explicit ERROR

THROW ##class(%Exception.General).%New("Shutting Down Operation",999,,"My own special exception")

But my operation still remains up.

Any suggestions please will be appreciated.

For those interested, here is an implementation example I used in one of my projects to interoperate with MongoDB using the pymongo package.

iris-mongodb

Interoperates with MongoDB (via pymongo package) with InterSystems IRIS (including outbound adapter)

Remember to import pymongo package.

We have solution which uses IRIS with IAM and webgateway integrated.

After integration, we notice that in the kong configuration in the kongdb upstreams are not created as listed in the kong.yml

We noticed that, IAM api calls are failing with enterprise license expired.

This is a bit of an IRIS question but also and OAuth 2.0 questions:

I am using %OAuth2.JWT.JWTToObject() to "validate" a JWT. My questions:

- While I am checking claims with the returned body, does the return status of the method "count" as a validation step? In other words, if I weren't checking claims and $$$OK was returned from that method call (passing in the token and public keys), I could feel confident that this token came from the expected auth server?
