Hello,
I have a list of files on disk.
Each record is the fully qualified UNC path and filename.
I would like to send these files to the end users default printer as a document.
I have attempted to build a html page using document.write statements and print using printWindow.print(); command.

I think there must be a better way to send a series of files to the windows print spooler.
I would welcome any and all input.

Hi,

I am using the &sql () tag to retrieve the value from the Cache DB.

below is the piece of code i am using:

script language="cache" method="retrieveDetail" arguments="pVariable" returntype="%String"
&sql( select columnA,
into :tempVariable1
from TABLE

quit tempVariable1

i have to return the ColumnA value back to the calling procedure.

can i know how it can be done ? since i am getting an javascript error.

Encryptions in IRIS

I saw that IRIS has some built-in%SYSTEM.Encryption Encryption functions, but what should we do when we see encryption AES/ECB/PKCS5Padding ? I wonder if there is a good solution?

Is there a command that will loop through the flat files of a given Linux/Unix folder? I can write the code to open and read each file. But the file names are unknown. I am looking for a way to access each file given a named Linux folder. The files have differing structures so a record map will not work.

I work as an Integration Engineer for United States Department of Veterans Affairs (VA). I work on a Health Connect production which processes many RecordMap files. I do not fully understand RecordMaps and I wanted to develop an application for the Interoperability contest where I could learn more about working with RecordMaps. I browsed InterSystems documentation for inspiration on how to start. I was happy to find CSV Record Wizard.

contest. As a beginner on this topic, I've heard somewhat about it, but I didn't know how complex and powerful was FHIR. As pointed out by @Henrique.GonçalvesDias here, you can model several aspects of the patient history and other related entities.

I am not a Cache Pro... Just an old hack with an idea to try to help my client.

We are running a medium sized salvage yard with Car-Part's Checkmate vehicle inventory software running Cache. Our part lookups sometimes run 10 seconds or more.

Will the Atelier plug-in work with newer versions of Eclipse?

Photon is getting a bit old and I'd like to use the latest version.

One additional question; Does Atelier work with JDK 11?

Good afternoon,

We have a very old version of Ensemble with one of our clients and they have no desire to upgrade anytime soon. We have gotten the all-clear to purge really old messages from the database, changing the days kept from 60 to 30. The option to Compact/Truncate is displayed in this version of Ensemble, but does not execute as it mentions not being actually present in this version.

There is an option in ^d DATABASE that restores unused space, however this does not return nearly as much free space as the refined Compact/Truncate procedure.

Zen Reports has offered multiple choices for direct printing including use of Adobe Reader or Foxit reader. Recent changes in Windows 10 and in the readers themselves have made it no longer possible to invoke these readers from background processes in Windows 10 and all future versions. Because of this Zen Reports will no longer support printing with these tools on Windows 10.

Windows 10 support was added for 2015.1 and 2015.2. On Windows 10, the only option for direct printing with Zen Reports will be Qoppa JPDFPrint.

To remove InterSystems products installed on your Windows system, use Add or Remove Programs in Control Panel (in Windows 10, select Apps from Windows Settings).

Since we will be making changes to the system, you will need to log in as a user with administrator privileges.

1) Log in to the system as an administrator.

2) From the system tray, exit the launcher of the InterSystems product instance you want to uninstall (click launcher → exit).

We have a requirement to read pdf text in ensemble object script code. As object script doesn't have direct solution , i tried to implement python code , but

iris 2020 , there is no support for python in object script.

so I have found one java utill using pdfbox api.

Now I have created jar and want to register into iris and want to make a call to mymethod to read pdf text.

please help me to way forward to achieve it.

I am looking for an implementation strategy to create/update organizations in a local ISC based FHIR server. Thoase organizations do have a certain dependancy to one another. For Organization resources the "partOf" property symbolizes that. It is planned, that a Interoperability Production (supporting FHIR Server) receives a bundle which contains a batch export of all organizations of a customer (Hospital). The task is to bring those data into the FHIR server create and/or update organization.
