Background:

This guideline provides an overview of how to design and implement a REST API interface for querying patient demographic data from an Electronic Patient Record (EPR) system using HealthConnect. I have recently been deploying an IRIS for Health image on a Docker with a preconfigured Webgateway image and I have come across the problem of the SSL configurations that allow us to connect to the IRIS instance using HTTPS and going through our Webgateway.

Until now I had always deployed IRIS for Health with a Community license, which still has the Private Web Server installed, so I only needed to configure the Webgateway connection with the deployed IRIS instance:

Hello, developers!

I would like to share the history of the project - the ZAPM shell.

As soon as ZPM was implemented, I immediately began to think about how best to use it.

And immediately faced with the desire to move more quickly between namespaces, especially when there are more than 20 of them.
I had to leave the ZPM, move to the desired namespace and re-enter the shell.
I suggested an improvement - a new "namespace" command for easier navigation.
I didn’t wait - I did it myself. And so it went. If you need it, get ready to do it yourself.

eBPF: Tracing Kernel Events for IRIS Workloads

I attended Cloud Native Security Con in Seattle with full intention of crushing OTEL day, then perusing the subject of security applied to Cloud Native workloads the following days leading up to CTF as a professional excercise. This was happily upended by a new understanding of eBPF, which got my screens, career, workloads, and atitude a much needed upgrade with new approaches to solving workload problems.

So I made it to the eBPF party and have been attending clinic after clinic on the subject ever since, here I would like to "unbox" eBPF as a technical solution, mapped directly to what we do in practice (even if its a bit off), and step through eBPF through my experimentation on supporting InterSystems IRIS Workloads, particularly on Kubernetes, but not necessarily void on standalone workloads.
