Does the Caché installer do all of the necessary setup for using Atelier when upgrading a pre-Atelier instance?
I just upgraded an Ensemble 2016.1 instance to 2016.2 and the /api/atelier web application wasn't created automatically. Aside from creating this web application is there anything else that needs to be done to support Atelier?
** UPDATE **
See my comment below -- this was caused by a permissions problem during the upgrade. After fixing the permissions problem and upgrading again Atelier works.
I'm trying to perform a SELECT with parameters using the EnsLib.SQL.OutboundAdapter. The SELECT returns results but seems to discard the parameters I try to send. I have tried two methods.
First:
Set par(1) = "20160630" Set par(1,"SqlType") = 12 Set sql = "SELECT Cod, Ing, score FROM [bbdd].[dbo].[vw_Test] WHERE MyParam >= '?'" Set tSC = ..Adapter.ExecuteQueryParmArray(.QueryResultSet,sql,.par)
I have set my Business service Ack Mode as "immediate" but the receiver says that they are getting a CA code. Is there a way that I can set the ACK to go as AA?
Is there an easy way to see if a class object has been compiled or needs to be? Or to get a list of classes that need to be compile in a particular namespace?
New to Health Connect so please forgive me if this is a stupid question! Is there a specific error code returned when a user initiates an abort from the jobs tab of the business host? I want to be able to treat the Abort as Completed due to our complex business process. Currently, hitting abort just retries the message to the same business operation. Want I want to do is provide the error code used by the Abort (if there is one) and treat it as OK
I want to switch between different DSNs in business operations to query different servers, but the DO ..Adapter.DSNSet("DSNName") code will report a 15-second connection timeout error when switching DSNs. What should I do?
We have many severs (DEV, QA and LIVE) besides many other slave servers (about 133) that are running Caché instances. Before writing this utility myself, I would like to know if anyone has done it before. We need to change the SuperUser password and do other credential setups like this on all of these servers and we don't want to do it one by one.
I'm in need of a lot of help from you. I work in a company with all system cached script, using global.
I need to develop web applications accessing the cache database, and global.
Could you help me indicate the best language option to develop web applications, and easier to access cache, and if possible send me some examples of applications accessing globals.
I have been using a command pipe to open/run UNIX scripts for months without issue. We recently installed the 2016 Caché Upgrade and now I'm getting the following error when opening the pipe:
<PROTECT> *OPEN[Q](|CPIPE|)
I assume some security or permission setting is to blame, but I'm not sure exactly what. Here's the snippet of code...
s cpipename="|CPIPE|"
s filepath="/path/script"
o cpipename:(filepath:"R"):10
A third party developer has asked for access to the documentation of my classes so he can understand my tables/classes better.
How do I give access the the documentation of my classes (single namespace) and secondary, do I need to give him access to %system. (and others)
Is it possible to block the likes of ensemble, Iknow, deepSee etc. I don't use those, and I don't want him to waste time (and my money) exploring areas that simply not necessary
what privilege roles do I need to give him whilst still maintaing security.
I am new to zen framework. I wanted to use Angular with in Zen framework. If we can integrate both frameworks. Please help me in finding some resources to refer.
I'm currently looking at a use case where I need to take a Stream, and then encode the contents as a Base64 Stream. This is currently achieved with a snippet of code that has previously been placed in multiple classes within this particular environment, and relied on the dotnet gateway (which suffers with a bug in 2022.1, corrected 2022.1.1).
I am having an issue where a routine that is changed is at times still running the old version of code. The routine is compiled after the change.
I am wondering if it is possible that the routine code is still in the routine buffer cache. Is there a way to force a flush or reload of the buffer for a given routine?
I have a ZEN application that displays PDF files in an 'iframe', embedded on a ZEN popup dialog. embedded in a ZEN page running on IE 11 with its document mode set to 5, which is enough to make most reasonable people give up and start selling hot dogs in the park.
