We have recently encountered an issue which requires us to define a new identity field (named xMDA in the attached example), instead of using the default ID field.
We need to run an SQL query which unfortunately overrides the ID field (see attached image) but we still need to be able to access the ID field in said query.

I've enabled the JWT Authentication in my web application. I invoked the /login page to get the JWT and it creates an entry in %SYS.TokenAuth table. Is there any time span for the entries will rid out from the table automatically or It's a manual process? Where can I find the JWT signature private/public key
Is it possible to authenticate an xDBC (ODBC/JDBC) connection to InterSystems IRIS via (a 3rd party) OAuth server?
For REST APIs this is possible, but could this be achieved with OAuth?
Out-of-the-box the ODBC/JDBC Drivers don't seem to have this option, but maybe some custom code could enable this? perhaps via Delegated Authentication and some OAuth classes customization, or some other way?
Has anyone done this already and can share how it was implemented, or someone with some guideline suggestions?

I have a DOS batch file that calls *.scr script to back up an existing routine and upload the newly updated one.
I have a backup folder setup in C:\Users\[username]\Backup\ on each server, some with more recent versions of cache. The *.scr script calls on the command: $SYSTEM.OBJ.Export(routine,path) .

They are very much aware of our dbt-iris adapter, but were asking in the context of their landing area, which combines foreign tables and views, ahead of possibly using dbt for onward transformations.
A customer would like to connect an IRIS database to Metabase BI. But Metabase does not have a connector that supports the IRIS database.

I am building a web application that uses JWT for authentication. I would like to pass the token in cookies instead of the Authorization header. Is there a way to intercept the request and check the token from the cookies instead of the header? I tried overriding the OnPreDispatch() method and adding it to my dispatch class, but it seems like it never gets executed, as the response returns "Unauthorized" before reaching it.
Was at an HL7 Connectathon over the weekend and got in a scramble that headed us in the direction of trying out Preview 4 for I4H and found that the USER namespace, and subsequent namespaces created do not have any mappings included with them.
The navigation by default returns the Total records, how can I change that or allow the navigator to only show the number of records in the current page, or is there a property of Tablepane that returns the current page records No?
I have been trying to do a backup from tape using the D ^DBREST command. I am not able to connect to the tape drive, that recently got replaced. It is configured and I can see it with IBM's ITDT. I did a test and it came back with the error below:

I'm trying to track down documentation on how HealthShare + HSPI prioritizes patient demographics that are returned in various scenarios. I've done some experimenting but was looking for some confirmation.
1. HSPI - It's my understanding that trusted tiers and aging factors only impact the HSPI management UI experience. That they are not incorporated into patient search response. Can someone confirm this?
2. Patient Search Response (Clinical Viewer, PDQ, XCPD, FHIR) - Only Registry demographics are used. Nothing from HSPI or Patient SDA.
We are moving away from Delegated Authentication in which I stored a username and password for our LDAP in a GLOBAL to be called by ZAUTHENTICATE.
Is there a way to pull in that GLOBAL into the LDAP Configuration within the Managment Portal instead of having to manually enter it? There seems to be an issue with Copy/Paste that the password isn't being set correctly when I use Copy/Paste.
Else I just export/import the LDAP Configuration from 1 server to another and manually update the Certificate to point to the correct file.
I am exporting data from Cache using the SQL export wizard. This is on a docker image of Cache hosted on a Linux server.
I select my database, schema, and table, make sure that all columns are being exported, check other settings, and then finish the export.
All server settings look correct and permissions are rwe on the directory. I have tried various directories, including a system level directory. I tried creating the file before I do the export in case there was an issue with creating the files, and I also made sure the created files had rwe permisisons.
I am using Windows 10 and I cannot find an installation source for the irisnative python library. I tried to install the wheel file provided by intersystems on github (https://github.com/intersystems/quickstarts-python/).
My purpose is to encrypt a communication using JWT tokens. I am developing on IRIS and my purpose is to generate a JWT token that will run on an older version of Cache (so I have to use functions that are compatible with the older version, Cache).

I'm discovering IRIS and I need to POC the solution, with a constraint: containerization. I'm used to deploy my apps in a Swarm cluster, and all my bind volumes are written on a GlusterFS volume.
The problem here, when I start my stack, the first log is:

I'm trying to get the python external language server started up in a container I am starting. The container is up and running but I cannot get the python language server to start.
This is the error that is coming back when trying to start the language server. I have tried creating a custom image with that package installed but it still does not work. Is there something specific that needs to be done to to get this working? (FYI, I have the dotnet version working but creating a custom image and installing the dotnet runtimes via a docker file)
In a customer project we started enforcing the "Inactivity Limit" as defined in System-Wide Security Parameters. The customer would expect accounts to become Disabled after they have been inactive for the specified amount of days. However, that doesn't happen; it seems the Inactivity Limit is only established after logging in.
Furthermore, the account inactivity only starts being applied after the first login. Can you confirm that?
Lastly, for accounts that have been manually Disabled, and have an expired password, we see the following weird behavior:

I noticed something interesting in regards to business rule editing. Whenever you use the Management Portal or Studio to edit a business rule, the " characters gets escaped to a ".
While the documentation of configuring authentication with Kerberos for IRIS on Linux servers is sparse, for docker i found no docs at all. Assuming I would be able to adapt the requirements from linux to docker (on linux host) I had no success at all. Has anyone successfully done this?
I noticed that the XCPD processor has a setting for PDQ minimum threshold and maximum record count returned, but PDQ does not have these settings. Can anyone explain why? They are essentially the same service.
