Hello, I am total newbie when it comes to ObjectScript (just started going through the tutorial). We have a task where we have to update the port number for 75-100 items (say for half of the items in our production). Going through the documentation and other community posts it looks like we could utilize class method 'ApplySettings' in Ens.Production. But we are running into an issue. Below is what we currently have. When we hard code the item, it works. But, if we store the item in a variable and try it pass it through. Then it doesn't work. We are also not seeing an error. Is our
Hello, I want to create PDF from HTML source. I found pandoc. I installed pandoc on IRIS container image. I created Interoperability production. I have setup REST service to receive HTML file in request body. I call pandoc command pandoc -o output.pdf input.html from a BPL process. I copy output.pdf file stream into response body. I save the response at the source. I get a file named output.pdf but it does not load in Acrobat. I suspect I am doing something wrong with headers (accept-encoding?) or maybe do I need to base64 encode the pdf file to transfer it via REST?
Hello every one, here in our company we are trying to develop a tool to help us in our "Code Review" that today is completely done for another developer.
So I need to develope a tool that reads a class/routine (Already done) and identify if in the current line there is some abbreviated command, that is against our policy of codification, for example:
s variable = "test" d ..SomeMethod()
So in this cases I want to warn the original developer that the code has parts that need to change the "s" to "Set" and de "d" to "Do".
On one of my team's systems, we utilize a business operation with the EnsLib.SQL.OutboundAdapter to make SQL queries to another IRIS system using JDBC. To authenticate the connection, we utilize a user account on the target system.
Currently we are exploring how we can allocate additional disk space to our current environment as we have seen a significant increase in growth of our Database files. Currently we have 3 namespaces, all with 1 IRIS.dat each that contains both the Global and Routines.
Since we have started down the route of everything within a single IRIS.dat file for each namespace, is it logical as we see growth to be able to split the current IRIS.dat for each namespace into a separate IRIS.dat for global and a IRIS.dat with for routines for each namespace in a Mirror environment?
Is there a general way to set a variable XYZ equal to the text of thecode line being executed now? Debugger or production. For example, for a code below if code is currently assigning a to 1, XYZ would be equal "S a=1". The same question about a variable containing current routine name.
If anyone has experience debugging Embedded Python or has insight into why an ObjectScript method when called from a Python method would not work but would work when called directly via ObjectScript or in a Python shell, your help would be appreciated!
We have an ObjectScript ClassMethod called GetTemplateString() which takes in a templateName of String type and uses the template name to get the template object, access the Code, and read the code into a templateString. The string version of the Code is returned.
Is there a wizard to override pieces of class (parameters, properties, methods, etc.) like there is in Studio? I can't find this functionality anywhere. If it's not there, it's certainly a piece I'll sorely miss as we transition to VS Code.
I'm testing some functionalities about Foreign Tables and it works smoothly with PostgreSQL database, but I found out an issue with MySQL database, I followed the documentation:
I've been trying unsuccessfully to use a parameter function within a routing rule. I can see the function %GetParameter available in the WYSIWIG rule editor, but I cannot seem to get the inputs for it correct, e.g.
I have a requirement where in I had to read a HL7 message string ( which is a String ) from a SQL TBL to my Business Service. and I need to convert that string to EnsLib.HL7.Message format and traverse through the PID segment.
We have a CSP pages script, which gets and sets a cookie for email tracking purposes, we had problems with cookies not being passed to this script when the URL was opened from an email client due to being cross-site, so I set Session Cookie Scope & User Cookie Scope to None instead of Strict.
This solved the issue with cookies not being passed, however the script entirely does not work anymore due to the error:
"Invalid CSP response cookie. SameSite cannot be set to None without Secure. : CSP Error"
I am trying to create a HS.FHIR.DTL.vR4.Model.Resource.Encounter message based on a conversion of HS.FHIRServer.Interop.Response QuickStream to a JSON %Dynamic Object.
When I try to send the HS.FHIR.DTL.vR4.Model.Resource.Encounter onto the Router
An IRIS.DAT file was removed, as it was not needed anymore. But the database was mirrored, so it still shows up in the mirror monitor and database list. How can this be fixed? There is no backup of the .DAT file so it cannot be restored.
during an upgrade, a customer wants to load custom schemas in a particular order. For this, they renamed a file EPIC_MDM.HL7 to 1EPIC_MDM.HL7 Upon importing this file into their server using VSCode, the custom schema was renamed to 1EPIC_MDM.HL7 inside the <Category>
This is impacting the upgrade and they are looking for a way to import a custom schema without renaming the schema itself.
Instead of building a BP to execute stored procedures just to insert the data, I figured I would give Linked Stored Procedures a try since all I need to do is insert the data. I have proved in our MS SQL Development environment that it is possible, so I through I could just repoint the Linked Stored Procedure
I'm a bit confused about the number of elements in an XML object. I have an object of the class EnsLib.EDI.XML.Document The xsd structure ( DocType) is an SDA Object
I'm getting an unexpected behavior when using pandas function to_sql(), which uses sqlalchemy-iris. After the first execution, a transaction seems to be opened and all rows inserted are lost after closing the connection:
Hi there, I'm wondering if anyone has run into an issue with <FILEFULL> when building an image from the ISC image? Specifically what's happening in our build is we are pre-loading our codebase into the image to make deployments faster and setting up source control, etc. When loading our libraries however we get hit with a <FILEFULL>. The resource limits on docker are pretty beefy and when observing resources on both the machine and container level we don't hit any issues. Oddly, this only happens when using the ARM64 version.
