The following code walks a DOM using %XML.Node. It also prevents %XML.Writer to change whitespace. Run the code using the class method "test":

As I've become a little more familiar with HealthShare, I'd like to start exploring different ways of doing things. To date, the bulk of my data transformations have been using DTL; only using ObjectScript for a few operations that write to external SQL tables that were largely based on examples provided by my sales engineer.

I am trying to find out individual segment values in Message viewer and it display the values in Management portal, copied the query and run it on SQL editor, Segment values displayed with blank. Is there a way to get the individual segment values using query?

Hi Team,

I would like to save the array subscript with in double quotes

eg sub1=111,sub2=444 (these values are dynamic)

set array(sub1,sub2)=""

It will be saved as array(111,444)=""

but I want to save it as array("111","444")=""

I am trying to save it from the class like """"_sub1_"""" but its not displaying as expected.

Kindly do the need full.

I have been working within Objectscript for a few months and I am seeking assistance today because all of the help files within the docs.intersystems.com domain are currently down and they wont be back up until next week. (I raised a special ticket for this)

I've been writing ObjectScript for a long time and was a little surprised by this behavior so I'd like to understand what is going on.

I was doing a peer review on some source which had roughly the equivalent of the following line:

I have received 2 errors while publishing Patient data to repository. Message viewer displays like below and the Application log found bold content.

Could you please help me on this to resolve the errors.

Lets imagine that there's a process that locks an entry of a gived domain, in my example the ID 2 of the table User.tApplications and using an exclusive lock. Additionally the error handling is managed by a $ETrap routine wich will look for error data in order to log it

Here in %SYS, we have already examined users, resources, and roles. Now that we know how to set all of that up, we should give it a purpose. Next we will talk about applications! As you may expect, we will see various identical class methods defined here that we have seen in the previous classes. However, some of them will have some tiny yet significant differences.
