Do you know the option/mode when I can feed multiline code into a terminal?

E.g.

for i=1:1:100 {

/// do one line

///do something else}

I need to convert "dd/MMM/yy" to "YYYYmmdd".

Input = dd/MMM/yy

Output = YYYYmmdd

example

Input = 13/Jun/23

Output = 20230613

I used below , I get 1923 as year but I need 2023.

$ZDATE($ZDATEH("13/Jun/23",8),8) = 19230613

Recently a customer ask me about a problem that detected when they were trying to send a post call to an external HTTP service, this service has changed and now it redirects to another URL, so they have setted to true the FollowRedirect parameter (setted to false for POST calls by default), what is the problem? They are sending a custom header in the post call and after the redirection this value is deleted.

How can I remove elements from $lb property? Specifically last element?
$list does not work with $lb properties.
$listupdate can't remove elements
The only solution I found is a temp variable and $list, but isn't there something better?

I'm working with VS Code on Centos 8. When I install the ObjectScript extension the installation succeeds, but the InterSystems icon never appears in the left-side panel. I can change settings for the extension - set the server info, etc. No errors show-up in the VS Code debug log.

UPDATE: the same thing happens on MacOS when using VS Code 1.46.1 and InterSystems ObjectScript extension 0.8.6

Can anyone suggest next steps for me to troubleshoot? Is there another log I should check?

I am using iknow text categorization to classify texts. I have 11 medical articles as my training set. Here is part of the source code:

Way back when during our Siemens LCR days we had to limit the number of characters in OBX.5 to a length of 75. That was back when we had eGate.

Now I need to do the reversal of that and take loop through a string length and split the string up into multiple OBX or NTE based on a certain length. In reading documentation $EXTRACT can do this if you know the exact length, but in this case we don't.

So how would one loop through a string and say every 75 characters create a new OBX or NTE segment?

Hi all.

I'm currently working with a system needing results from a lab system, and they can only accept a single OBR per R01 message.

The R01s from the source have multiple OBRs, so I need to be able to send a message per OBR.

A new Health Connect customer has a few experienced Java folks on their interface team. As they get more into Health Connect and learn Caché ObjectScript they thought it would be useful to have a list of common Java statements with an equivalent statement in ObjectScript. They mentioned string manipulation as an example, but would be interested in other areas as well.

This seems like something that is probably already floating around somewhere. Does anyone have something like this or other "COS jumpstart for Java devs" materials?

How can I programmatically obtain the URL for CSP apps to send the full qualified link to the users(e.g. via email) of my app?

set x_Counter ="test" in Cache Object script. I tried with EXECUTE XECUTE ("set x"_Counter "="_DIAGS_""), but it does not work.

Are there any short ways of serializing COS entity to the string? I am searching for something like .$toJSON() , but I need Caché 2013.* support.

The one way I supposed to work is to use $listbuild:
