I am trying access each "name" tag in the xml-file down below and want to display them through the trace in the production:

UPDATE: Found a reason in my code why this could be occurring. Still it would be interesting to hear what people come back with.

Consider the following MERGE statement.

It would be interesting if there is some recommended documentation about best practices using Healthshare for interoperability.

Or event better, if there are experienced developers who would like to share some common habits on their work with Studio / ObjectScript, which are valuable to do the developing work better.

We are seeing something funky when using $ZSTRIP.

w $ZSTRIP("ZZZZTESTSLOCKTEST","<","ZZZZTEST")
LOCKTEST

Shouldn't this be returning....SLOCKTEST and not LOCKTEST, the goal is to remove ZZZZTEST from the beginning of the string.

Let's say I have two lists of connected data where elements of listTwo only make sense if given an item of listOne as context:

listOne = ["A", "B", "C"]

listTwo = ["x", "y", "z"]

Tuples like ("A", "y") and ("C, "x") make sense, but "A" or "x" by themselves don't. I would like to pass in a list of such tuples into a method and have it handle each tuple in the list. So what would be the best way to format them given that ObjectScript does not have specialized tuples? Would it be nested $LISTBUILD lists or something else?

I have a long running job and would like to set the "Client Application Details" -> "Info" indicator in my code so that I can monitor the process.

Does anyone know how I can set that string in my COS code?

Wich, in general, is just a copy of a similar class in %ZEN with minor changes. I need to include it in the base install. How can i do this? Am I ever allowed to change the composition of system classes?

Say you have a DICOM document with an input information sequence with many sequence items. You could access every item one by one by looping and querying the path by passing it to the GetValueAt method as demonsrated below.

This works but there are some performance issues on my system if the document has to be read for each query (as far as I know, that is the case on my system). Is there a way of querying a path, which would return the sequence items as an array? I think I am missing something. With 900 items the process takes around 20 seconds currently.

I am trying to reference a field, however, in our production environment, it can be found in the first second or third iteration. My code was only qualifying on the first iteration. I have been attempting to include all iterations, but I have come up short...below is a snippet of what I am attempting to use. My original code simply had GetValueAt("PID:13.4") but this only referenced the first iteration. Thanks for any thoughts!

Lets imagine that there's a process that locks an entry of a gived domain, in my example the ID 2 of the table User.tApplications and using an exclusive lock. Additionally the error handling is managed by a $ETrap routine wich will look for error data in order to log it

We have a data transformation where source is object collection (populated from a json file) and target is EnsLib.EDI.XML.Document.

If source file is large enough, transformation fails and we get <store> error and I quickly found this:
