End of support for CentOS

During the realization of some required functionality, I discovered that I need to use Deflate compression, and found, that IRIS does not offer any options, $system.Util.Compress, works one way open (GZIP/COMPRESS) totally different, even for the same algorithms, I see that what I would expect as a result for Deflate somewhere there, but Compress returns something more. Is there any way to get a correct result using just ObjectScript without a need to use external tools? Was it really so difficult to have Deflate implemented in the first place?

Currently, I'm working on a script using %SYS.Journal API.

My journal files are compressed, following the documentation the compression is zstd.

I tried to unzip a file with zstd tool, ex:

apt-get update
apt-get install zstd

zstd -d 20230806.001z -o 20230806.001

20230806.001z        : 92.03%   (909312 => 836859 bytes, 20230806.001) 

Unfortunately, the unzipped file is invalid:

The 2023.3 releases of InterSystems IRIS Data Platform, InterSystems IRIS for Health, and InterSystems IRIS Studio are now Generally Available (GA).

RELEASE HIGHLIGHTS

2023.3 is a Continuous Delivery (CD) release. Many updates and enhancements have been added in this release:

K9s is a terminal-based UI (aka kubectl clown suit), to manage Kubernetes clusters that drastically simplifies navigating, observing, and managing your applications in K8s, including Custom Resources like the InterSystems Kubernetes Operator (IKO) and ArgoCD Applications. If you are about to take your CKD, CKA, or CKS, leave k9s well enough alone for awhile as the abstraction to kubectl will become the standard for navigating the cluster and you will undoubtedly become estranged to the extended flags of kubectl and bomb the exam.

I've written a stored procedure for SQL as follows. The second parameter is a search path that may use a single quote or bracket as part of its expression.

When the expression uses a single quote, I can double it within SQL, and it works well. In this example, 'testDate' is written as ' ' testDate ' ' .

In the next example I'd like to use brackets (see below), which causes an error.
