I'm very new to this ecosystem so please bear with me:

I've startted learning online and have installed everything I need. I have VS code and I have most definitely installed the pack (3 packages) needed for working on it with ObjectScript. Even though this is the case I'm running into 2 problems:

1. when I type "class" I only get 4 option for auto complete. no "class with multiple inheritances" or anything of the sort. In fact, no Class at all, only ClassMethod. ClassResponse etc.

One can modify Interoperability External-Service Registry in Management Portal (Interoperability > Configure > External-Service Registry).

Can the registry be accessed and modified programmatically?

I don't find much documentation about the subject. Mainly https://docs.intersystems.com/irisforhealth20221/csp/docbook/DocBook.UI....

I'm currently making some changes to legacy code and I've noticed that it uses "i $i(" all over the place. Testing in terminal seems like this does the same thing as "do $i()". Is there a difference between these two (and if not is there some interesting history around this)?

Hello, I'm curious to see how other people deal with this: we have a text file that was created on someone's Windows machine and it was copied and pasted into a text file on someone's Mac machine. After some examination we realized that the line feeds were originally CRLF (for Windows) and when copied and pasted they were changed to LF (Mac). The diff program we used didn't pick up on this and the program we wrote to read the file was getting each line of the CRLF file and treating the whole file as one line for the LF file.

I have a method that has multiple parameters and is normally used from other classes in ObjectScript. Most of the parameters have default values. Withing the server code that's perfect. In some areas I can call myMethod(,,"sometext") or myMethod(tVariab) and thats fine... I use it as it's required in each place.

But now I want to expose it as a REST service so I need to buld a kind of wrapper., another method in a REST dispatcher class that will receive the parameters in a JSON object and will call the server method already implemented. Something like:

The question is pretty much in title. I'm developing a REST API, it has a search endpoint with 10 optional parameters. How do I pass them and stay RESTFul?

To ease the question a bit let's agree that:

• all parameters are AND parameters, user can't make combos, ORs, etc. User can only provide values
• all values are integers so I don't have to think about URL limits
• all values are atomic
• all conditions are about equivalency

I have two namespaces

1. In the first one, I have defined a class which Extends (%Persistent, Ens.Util.MessageBodyMethods), we'll call it NSOne.Msg.Req
2. In the second namespace NSTwo, I want to use the previous class with something like SET pInput = ##class(NSOne.Msg.Req).%New()

I mapped the NSOne.Msg.Req package in namespace NSOne. In Atelier, I can see NSOne.Msg.Req in my NSOne. But, when I try to execute line 2 above, it tells me :

This code works fine for strings shorter than 254 characters:

Thought maybe someone can share the code for longer strings?

i want to restrict certain IPs (ip for now and looking for more such parameters) from running my URL for security purposes...

i wanted to know how to access their ips and compare them with the list of restricted IPs, also if not IPs are there any other unique browser parameters which can be used for access control? and enhance security
