How to call multiple SQL gateway connections in BO

I would like to install the IRIS Community edition on Oracle Linux 9.0 for x86–64 but it is not proposed on the Community loading page. the only Linux versions proposed are Red Hat 8, Red Hat 9, SUSE 14, Ubuntu 20.04, Ubuntu 22.04.

Is there a way problematically to see what Operations/Services are attached to a EnsLib.JavaGateway.Service and if there are issues with the EnsLib.JavaGateway.Service to stop/start those Services/Operations that might be attached to it?

Is it some certain class, method, global, api, application or neither? If the entity is some of this what is the syntax?

With my team, we're evaluating the different streams existing in order to find good pratices for our project using InterSystems IRIS. In doing so, we found that there exists different forms of the same stream with the %Stream.FileBinary and %Stream.FileBinaryGzip classes. We think that the %Stream.FileBinaryGzip takes less space to be stored, but is there other diferences between these two classes and what would you recomend to use ? Is it the same thing for %Stream.FileCharacter and %Stream.FileCharacterGzip ?

Is there a built-in Set class in IRIS? A set is an array-like collection where each value in the set is guaranteed to only appear once.

Does the assign action not work? Why doesn't MSH:7 get updated to the current DT?

I am attempting to make a FHIR call against the Epic Repository through Intersystems. I have setup a Service client per Create FHIR REST Client | InterSystems Developer Community | Business

but I have set it up using OAuth and HTTPS.

I have verified that the OAuth works by executing it manually via a Terminal to verify I get a response. Of course, when I do it is writing to the ISCLOG

Is there a way to exclude specific members from a class when exporting to an XML or UDL file? Bonus question: is there a way to import from that file without overwriting those members that were excluded?

The use case is to export an interoperability production class without the ProductionDefinition XDATA. We plan to source control the production items through the Ensemble Deployment Manager, but we still need to export any custom code in the class definition itself.

I am a volunteer at a nonprofit that is attempting to connect to a product that uses InterSystems Cache (Clinisys LIMS). I have not used this database before, but I have used many others (MS-SQL, Oracle, etc.). I am hoping IRIS is compatible enough with Cache for this project.

I downloaded IRIS. I learned about Terminal [IRIS]. Using it I was able to create a new table, insert data, and retrieve it. I also used the Management Portal to query the new table. It also returned the data.

An IRIS.DAT file was removed, as it was not needed anymore. But the database was mirrored, so it still shows up in the mirror monitor and database list. How can this be fixed? There is no backup of the .DAT file so it cannot be restored.

w ##class(SYS.Mirror).RemoveMirroredDatabase("/mydir/")

throws a protect error.
