I'm trying to schedule a task hourly. It's currently set to execute "Daily" but run every 60 minutes. It's only running daily. Do I need to change the "Daily" to OnDemand in order to get it to run hourly?

Hello, trying to figure out how to configure an Ensemble web service to use HTTP Basic authentication.  I have a web service client that will not be able to send SOAP headers.  I did not see that option at all in the documentation.  thanks

When running the built in Ensemble Purge task (Ens.Util.Tasks.Purge) there are three parameters DaysToKeep, BodiesToo, and KeepIntegrity.  This article focuses on the KeepIntegrity boolean parameter, but more information about running this task can be found here:

KeepIntegrity determines which Ensemble Messages are marked for deletion within the time specified by DaysToKeep. 

With KeepIntegrity marked as true, the Purge will only mark “completed” messages for deletion.

Is there any method or routine available to export and import the user roles and the sql table and sql procedures associated with each role?

We have created a dll with .Net that generates a MS Word document with a template. The .Net method works, we have tested it with Visual Studio and it generates the document.

But once we have created the dll and embebed it in Ensemble through the Wizard, when we try to execute the method that generates the document, it doesn't work. It doesn't throw us an error, it simply doesn't open the template.

We have seen that MS Word program is opened, but that's all.

We are using Microsoft.Office.Interop to generate the Word document. It must be Word 97 version document.

What are we missing?

Hi - If you want to embed Ensemble's Workflow Inbox, (that offers workflow task items to workflow users) inside of your application - you can access the URL directly without necessarily giving users access to the Management Portal - but more importantly, you can strip away the Titlebar, Worklists and Borders that make up the page by default.

You do this by using the same URL parameters you would use, if embedding a regular DeepSee dashboard into your application.

I have an Ensemble DTL which is suppose to translate the inbound XML document to an outbound XML document.

I need to test if a particular XML element exists, to perform some translation.

In the DTL I have the following,

A beginner’s guide to position Ensemble in regards to MicroServices Architecture (MSA). MSA is getting more visibility in the Enterprise Java world therefore it is vital to understand what is behind the buzz. I make a (humble) attempt to write my view and share with you.

First of all I must confess.Early this summer our Czech colleague Daniel Kutac was asking me to collect some information about a health care product developed in Hungary.When I got the feedback from the related company, it turned out, that the product is a modular system, based on MicroServices Architecture (MSA).

I am happy to share the news that Zen Mojo 1.1.2 has been released. This release includes a critical fix for Firefox that we had to get out as fast as possible. No other changes are included to allow easy upgrades. We recommend upgrading to this release if you are running on Zen Mojo 1.1.1.

All upcoming Caché and Ensemble releases will ship with Zen Mojo 1.1.2.

This is a beginner’s guide to the design of a “MicroService” implemented in Ensemble. “MicroService” is a popular phrase these days which has a broad interpretation. My interpretation is: “MicroService” is a “NoSQL Service”. A what? The answer is in the article.

We learnt what the difference is between SQL and NoSQL databases. For me the difference is nearly the same between a SOA Web Service and a “MicroService”. I am going to explain it through an example.

My organization has been tasked with parsing raw EDI 271 messages into JSON strings in order to feed a downstream application.  A few key details about the task:

• The raw EDI 271 will be coming across as a standard format from a single outbound upstream system
• The EDI 271 messages adhere to the 5010 standard
• We do not need EVERY field from the EDI message, only a select number of fields.  However some of the fields we need (e.g. coverage details) are dynamic in size and will be variable in # of segments both on the EDI side as well as the receiving JSON side.

As far as I can see, looks like HealthShare uses Ensemble and could perform everything Ensemble does.

Do you find yourself commonly adding code actions to your data transformations? If so, what do these contain? Is there a reason you choose to add a code action over creating a custom function that you can call?

We are interfacing through Ensemble with an application that does not like diacritic signs in text. I have been searching for a way to strip these signs from the HL7 messages that get send to that application. 
The problem in short is we have an incoming HL7 message with e.g. é (or ë, á etc), this goes into Ensemble. In the outgoing message the é should be replaced with an e. 

I have tried solving this issue with the use of a new subtable, which does the conversion as é->e / ë->e etc. This works with (file)streams and also with ZConvert: Write $Zconvert("ë","O","BASCII")outputs "e", where

etc etc with "05's all the way up to 10's" they are for results.  The supplier isn't being helpful, google for PMEP isn't given anything useful, hence I'm asking the friendly developers here if they've come across it and even better have any sort of file format or spec at all?

maybe I am not looking in the correct spots, but how should one handle an Exception from a SOAP web service within the Business  Process Language? For example I am sending a request to a Web Service to try to get information, but the response I am getting is an Exception like "Patient Not Found".

Is there a function I can call to check the response similar to what I do to check a SQL Snapshot to see if it is valued?

I have an operation which calls an external web service, returning a long XML string.

Passing the string into Excel creates a table like this:

Each row above relates to a document on a server. In Ensemble, I need to parse the XML similarly to Excel, where I can loop over each document and take various actions depending on the different values.

I created a BPL to call the operation and return the XML string, which I've converted it to an %XML.TextReader object, and I'm using a While loop to loop through each element.

I put in traces for Name, NodeType, Path and Value and examined the results

I have a question on working with dev and prod environments.

After project is ready and signed, I usually migrate outcome to production using the export tool from the studio.

For changes/adding to existing projects, I exclude the production class (as it has some different values differing the dev from the live) and I add the differences manually afterwards.

My questions on migrating are:

Does anyone has (to share) his/her best practice steps on "migrating dev to prod"?

Does the export action (in management portal) is better to use?
