How can I do the above using code in cache studio ?

What type of services should I use? what's the parameters ? functions? and how can I test it?

My steps are as follows:

1. Switch to the system user using psTool

2. Start instance in emergency way

3. Journal restore

4. Stop instance

A dialog box appears：

The parameter “quielty” seems to have no effect in the windows environment

Is there any non-interactive way to close the instance?

I'm using Qlik Attunity Replicate to extract data, the query was formatted by the tool. The query will return data in excel and SSIS, but not using Replicate.

I'm using HealthShare on Cache 2017.2. I'm trying to find out how I can get a list of all the custom classes, routines and globals in %SYS namespace (if it's even possible).

We're about to perform an upgrade, and in the docs it mentions needing to check for anything custom in %SYS to avoid important stuff being overwritten. Some of our solutions have been developed by an external consultancy and we want to make sure that none of their code or data will be affected by the upgrade.

Some background info: I receive a JSON response from an API call and used %FromJSON to convert the response to an Dynamic Object. Some of the items in the response are repeated such as NOKName, NOKrelationship.

Has anyone found a good terminal emulator replacement for Cache Terminal?

We want one where the up arrow works to bring back the last command typed (without extraneous characters appearing at the beginning of the line) and be able to run D ^JOURNAL and have it display correctly.

I tried WebTerminal a couple of years back and but it didn't work properly with the journal. I've tried RoyalTS and that doesn't do up arrow or the journal correctly even though it's supposed to be emulating a VT400.

Any suggestions?

During some consulting activity, I found at the client's site CACHEAUDIT database of more than 100 GB size. The reason was simple: several processes produced a great amount of %System/%System/OSCommand audit records due to frequent external calls ($zf(-100,...)). As it is well-known, those events can be easily disabled systemwide, while this can be hardly considered secure enough.
