Our current file repository was on a linux server, but it has been having issues. For this reason, we are moving the data to SharePoint online, since we already pay for the service. It seems there is not an option to ftp/sftp files to/from the SharePoint Online server from our RedHat server (Cache for UNIX (Red Hat Enterprise Linux for x86-64) 2015.2.3 (Build 855_0_17370))
How would I send and receive From the RedHat server to the SPO Server?
I'd love full example code, but any help pointing me in the right direction would be much appreciated.
Hi all, I'm running into an issue with the installation, it seems like almost everything is working alright but upon trying to actual access the Management Portal, the site cannot be reached. I've noticed that the terminal indicates that Sign-on is inhibited.
I was curious if application partners were developing their own task managers for scheduling background tasks, or using the built in task schedule that is part of the Cache platform.
For those that are using the Cache task manager, what has been your method for distributing default tasks that your application needs during initial install as well as upgrades? Are you distributing an export of the %SYS.Task object, or perhaps you are distributing an installation script that adds a task to the task scheduler when it is first run?
I have a couple of new namespaaces/databases that are read-only. I don't remember changing them to read-only, and although my username has %all (I installed the system), I am unable to change the "Always mount as read-only" property.
Say I have two horologs or timestamps, how can I compare them? I know that just time1 > time2 doesn't work because it will compare them as strings which is not correct.
I am using a %GlobalStream to create as % stream.Object and writing that to a file but for some reason when I run that on the terminal I get <PARAMETER>zWrite^%Library.GlobalCharacterStream.1 and no file is created
I have tried the following here is my code and still get the same result any help appreciated
How we can reduce the size of cache.dat file? Even after deleting the globals of a particular database from management portal size of its cache.dat file is not reduced.
Good day!
Is there an opportunity to debug the ISCAgent behaviour (in Linux)? ISCAgent uses /etc/iscagent/iscagent.conf as configuration file, but in docs I've found a description only for two parameters (port number and interface - http://docs.intersystems.com/latest/csp/docbook/DocBook.UI.Page.cls?KEY=...). Other parameters I can see by running /usr/local/etc/cachesys/ISCAgentCtrl status:
The .NET Core Identity model has an IPasswordHasher<> interface for for
Hashing a password so that it can be stored in a database
Verifying a provided plain-text password matches a previously stored hash.
I am getting invalid password errors during the login process when the .NET Core Identity model computes a hash from a plain text input and compares it to a password hash value I've returned from Caché. The default hashing algorithm is PBKDF2 with HMAC-SHA256, 128-bit salt, 256-bit subkey, and 10,000 iterations (detailed article on .NET Core Identity PasswordHasher). The algorithm Caché uses is probably different which may be why I am getting errors.
Hi All, Can you please tell me how to get the Size of the Global Subcript.
In Cache 2016 - they are using ##Class(%GlobalEdit).GetGlobalSizeBySubscript()
For Older version how to get the GlobalSize of the Subscript.
Because the method is not exist in Older Versions and all.
I have a process that is importing lots of data from an external file, but every now and then I come across a STORE error.
I know that the STORE error is occurring in the %Save method of the class but I know very little else and I think its something to do with a lage amounts of Related Objects.
Is there a method of finding out more information regarding this error i.e. which actual object was being saved etc etc.
In PHP, I'm able to utilize the implode and str_getcsv functions to convert a comma-delimited string to a tab-delimited string. The following is an example.
Can anyone please provide me with a guide I can follow to create an entry in Cache's SSL/TLS configuration that would allow me to "speak" to an website via the Post method using SSL.
I need to simulate functionality that is provided by my browser but from with Cache.
The topics I have are:
1. From where do I source the certificate that will be used for this process?
2. What processing must I do on it to make it acceptable for Cache's SSL/TLS
3. What settings are required when filling the the form
Hi Cache team, I am in the need of listing all the user defined schemas that are present my Cache db and also the user defined tables and views and Columns of those tables and views through Queries. So that I can write some JDBC code to run the queries and fetch the above metadata. Any help is appreciated.
We are building a bunch of rest based services using Ens 2016.2 to serve our browser based application (Angular 4).
Two questions:
1. The initial authentication seems only work if credentials are placed in the url parameters. Trying to use the Authorization header instead, the client code immediately complains about Access-Control-Allow-Origin. How can I resolve this?
2. After initial authentication, what is the proper way to send subsequent rest calls without having to include credential every time?
There is an interesting discussion in the neighboring topic which raises a question for me: is there any reason to have %Status as a return value for COS method?
Some may think it's a strange / daft idea, but just today the Raspberry Pi folks have announced that they've now sold more than 10 million of them..and counting. That's a huge potential marketplace, and a great platform for getting people to hear about Cache and try it out. Given its focus on the education sector, another great way of getting heard about.
