I have been building Business Processes in Ensemble for a few months and in a process i'd use a combination of data from the request that started the process and context variables that where filled by earlier calls in the process as input for a data transformation. I do not know how to achieve that.
When implementing deferred response there was a problem initially with a few responses which meant we had blank jobs spawned somehow. How do you get rid. All the operation does is:
I have a business service which is responsible for some batch operations with an SQL table. The process is generally slow but it is possible to scale the performance using multithreading and/or parallel processing and logical partitioning (postgres):
I have a process in which i call a rest operation in a while loop, get a response in JSON format of 50 issues, with paging, meaning this call will happen until the total amount of issues will be returned. each JSON is parsed into a proxyObject, and inserted to a list. later the entire list will be sent to an SQL operation which will write the data in the appropriate tables.

I want to generate and return an http response based on the input of a http GET request. For my first steps I used an EnsLib.Http.GenericService, which uses an EnsLib.HTTP.InboundAdapter to receive requests like http://[my server]:[my-port]/some-path?ID=12345678.
But in my Business Process when I refer to request.GetValueAt("FT1:16.4.2") its not recognizing that this field contains information. Is my syntax wrong?

So, I'd like to update one (and preferably) more context-fields in my ensemble BPL business process based upon the information in the request that initiates said BPL proces. I got a few questions about that:
I have been trying to track down an issue we are seeing in our TEST environment with Memory usage.
We have Several BP's for years now that take a HL7 message, parse it apart, and make calls to a Custom EnsLib.SQL.OutboundAdapter to have it execute Insert/Select/Update/Delete stored procedures against a MS SQL Database via JDBC connection. We are using Microsoft's JDBC 12.2 driver to do this.
What we are seeing is that IRIS.WorkQueue globals are being defined for these calls but then the IRIS.WorkQueue is not being cleaned up and taking up large amounts of Memory.
I am creating a BPL using the Management Portal instead of creating a custom class.
As per the documentations 'request object' contains properties those were in the original request message object or primary request and can be reference using the dot syntax.
So if the primary request was an HL7 message, i should be able to pull the value MSH:9.2 as follow
request.{MSH:9.2} and assign it to a context property
Is there a way to have a context property be available across 2 or 3 different business processes? For example if I am setting a value in a context property within one business process and want to use the same context property in a second business process, is this possible? Is this something that can be done with the "Context Superclass"?
Hi! I am working on a project where I use record map to transform a flat file and split it into two output text file and in the future will need to split four output files.
I only want to use one target business operations instead of multiple. Is there a way to set the output file and the target folder path in my business process class?
Any advice on how I can achieve this or is this possible? Thanks!
I've got a REST service that I can access via a browser. I can get it to take HTML tags as data and display it back to me (so I know the REST part is working). So if I send it this:

I have an XML I am sending to an operation from a BPL. This is a query for Patient information from Epic using a web service. I created the operation using the add-in in Studio. I setup the BPL to do a Call and send whatever data I receive from the client. I get a response back from Epic with a list of matching Patients. In the BPL I am trying to use the Response Builder to pass the response ID, name, DOB, etc. to matching context items to then pass to the client as a response. I get the following error within the call:
We are trying to convert some of our SQL Service Integration Service jobs from Visual Studio to Ensemble. If we execute a Stored Procedure within SQL Server Management Studio it is returning approx 12,000 rows. However when Ensemble executes the same Stored Procedure it is only returning 250 rows.
While starting newly created production I am getting below error:
17:14:05.498:Ens.Director: ERROR <Ens>ErrProductionSuspendedMismatch: Production 'Training.NewProduction' was suspended, a new production of a different name can not be started.
Please note that I can start and stop 'Training.NewProduction' successfully but still the status of the Training.NewProduction' is suspended.
Does anyone knows if there is a limit per second adding messages to an Ensemble queue? I have a Business Service working and sending async requests to a Business Process, but I can't reach no more than 60-70 messages queued per second.
I've done several tests and same behavior seems to happen with all our productions. So I was wondering if there is a parameter anywhere to maximize the number of requests that can be send to a queue per second.
I have set up an EnsLib.REST.GenericService with an EnsLib.HTTP.InboundAdapter which forwards the http requests received by a web app to my Business Process.
I would like to parse HTTP multipart/form messages I am receving and be able to iterate over the various fields within the request body, accessing its content type and the content itself.

It happens sporadically when an automated unit test from a class that extends %UnitTest.TestProduction runs a test on a Business Process. I already increased the parameter MAXWAIT to 30 seconds, but the error still happens.
New to Health Connect so please forgive me if this is a stupid question! Is there a specific error code returned when a user initiates an abort from the jobs tab of the business host? I want to be able to treat the Abort as Completed due to our complex business process. Currently, hitting abort just retries the message to the same business operation. Want I want to do is provide the error code used by the Abort (if there is one) and treat it as OK
Once a week we are attempting to load an XML file from Workday into a MS SQL table using JDBC and Store Procedures. There is approx 102999 records in this XML file. We are struggling with processing the entire file within a reason amount of time. We feed the XML through a BPL to then populate values in a stored procedure then call the stored procedure through a Business Operation. I have tried splitting out the Business Operations to make two calls, but we still continue to see an issue loading the XML into MS SQL.
I'm currently working on a Business Process Language (BPL) project where I'm using ##Class(%SQL.Statement).%ExecDirect to execute a SQL query. The query returns more than one row, and I'm facing an issue in handling the result set.
I'm currently working on a BPL (Business Process Language) in InterSystems Ensemble, and I'm facing an issue when trying to call the SendRequestSync() method within a code activity. My understanding is that SendRequestSync() is part of Ens.BusinessProcess, and since Ens.BusinessProcessBPL extends Ens.BusinessProcess, I believe it should be accessible.
However, during compilation, I'm encountering an error stating that the method doesn't exist in the class.
