Hi,

I am sending a request message to Business Process which has one property as Dynamic Object type. So i get the JSON in my REST service and convert that as a dynamic object and set that in the request message and calling the business process from the business service. But the request is not getting sent to the Business Process. Is it possible to send dynamic object input to the business process.

We have the following need: Send a DICOM Find Document to get the complete list of a patient's studies from an Outbound System, which we simulate with the tool called "dcm4che" specifically with these two commands:

1º.Initialize a DICOM database in simulator. We will use this database to run queries using DICOM C-FIND commands:

Hello, I am writing some cache code that will pick up a PDF file, Base64 encode the contents and then send on to a third party system within a Long String (via their API). I have been testing this and discovered that the PDFs do not open within the supplier system (I get an error saying that it hasn't been decoded correctly). I wanted to prove that the issue does not lie with the way that I have Base64 encoded it within Ensemble, and therefore as a test wanted to Encode the PDF stream, then decode the stream and write out to a new file.

How do we trigger a BPL Business Process on a time schedule?

We are building a production that takes a steady stream of (HL7) lab results messages, processes them and stores them in a temporary database table. At scheduled points during the day (eg 0800, 1300, 1600) the database is queried and messages sent on to the downstream system. Aiming that the Processes to be implemented in BPL if possible - but we are having trouble triggering code in a BPL as a scheduled job.

I usually receive complains from our customers about the BPL and DTL web pages automatic refreshes, it's a common problem among newbies users but for veteran developers too, they forget to save the changes regularly and automatically the web page is reloaded, losing all the work done.

Maybe an autosave would fix this problem that produces a deep feeling of hate and resentment against InterSystems technology among our customers. I've added an idea in our portal, so feel free to vote it!

I need to set and use some context variables in a transformation (written in DTL), but the code is manually written.

When writing the same as BPL I define context variables and they are visible in transformations called by that process.

In something like this my.DTLtransform sets HL7 message fields to values in context variables:

However, when I create a business process using custom code option, I don't see an obvious option, as well as documentation covering that area.

In some project, I found the need to use SMIME format https://www.ietf.org/rfc/rfc3851.txt, basically is an standard used to wrap a message together with its signature using a certificate (usually X509). Ensemble don't have a single class to do that but inside the Ensemble installation we have the openssl utility, so in this example I use the "openssl smime" command to sign or verify a message.

The example has two Business Process that able to sign or verify and in order to test I made a simple production.

We have the following situation:

We are in a BPL, and we have defined 4 <call> asynchronous as follows:

First one name: "Enviar a Proceso NEGRIN"

The second one, named as: "Enviar a Proceso HUNSC"

The third one, titled: "Enviar a Proceso CHUIMI 02"

And the fourth and last one names as: "Enviar a Proceso Fuertev"

Inmediately after the 4 calls, we have a <sync> instruction which should wait for all of them to finish.

I have a case where our EMR is sending data, but not all the values needed for the Ancillary are valued properly and causes that message to error/halt processing on the Ancillary system, not ideal but its what they do. I would expect them to still process the message except that 1 field, but they don't.

I want to add validation to make sure certain fields are valued correctly for the Vendor. 

So I add some statements to take those items that don't pass this validation out to a batch file with headers.

But I want to email out that batch file.

Hi folks, I'm trying to pad my patient MRN to 10 characters before I do a SQL lookup in my BPL. I've tried various approaches, and have not been successful.

When I add a "code" statement with the following code, I get an error as below.

Hi Community,

Here we have requirement to process messages min 10 sec delay. Current time it is taking my businessProcess is less than 1 sec.

To implement this requirement , I need to sleep 10 sec in business process custom code.

Could somebody help me to implement delay in BusinessProcess.

Is there a way to graphically edit BPL processes, or do we still need to use Studio for doing that? 

Looking at the documentation, it appear there should be an Atelier BPL editor option available under Open With, but all I have is Atelier Class, HTML, INT, and MAC editors. 

There is a BPL editor in the list, but it throws a "Bad editor input" error when trying to open the class file. 

I'm running version 1.0.263 that was installed from the WRC distribution of 1.0.262 and then updated.  The only other plugins installed are the Eclipse XML Editors.

I have a query regarding general behaviour of a business process in Ensemble. 

I have a BPL which has a call block out to an operation (Adapter class EnsLib.SOAP.OutboundAdapter).  The call to this operation is synchronous (i.e. the Asynchronous box is not ticked), with a long time out value. and the pool size of the process is set to 1 in the management portal.

What I am seeing is that when messages are being processed, a second message is being processed by the BPL before the first message that entered the BPL has had a response back from the call to the operation.

We have a request message with properties that has underscore. This is because we need to convert that request to JSON.

The problem is when we try to assign a value in a Business Process with the editor. It doesn't work, it doesn't compile.

How can we fix this?

Still a newbie for ensemble, I am trying to convert XML message to HL7 Message. I am using Custom schema for XML structure which includes MSH and PID segments from HL7 Message.

These are the service, process, Operation classes i am using 

Business service-EnsLib.EDI.XML.Service.FileService

Business operation -EnsLib.HL7.Operation.FileOperation

I am using data transformation to convert XML message to HL7 message  and data transformation is working fine and im getting this in the business operation.

I installed Atelier on Windows in order to take a look at how the BPL and DTL graphical editors accessible via the "Open diagram editor" action work. The diagram editor is opened but I get the following error:

It looks like Atelier uses IE in order to display the editor even though my Windows default browser is Chrome.

I tried to change the General -> Web Browser setting to "Use external web browser" and choosing Firefox or Default system web browser.

Productions often need to receive REST requests.

I created a DTL to do HL7 mapping. The test function in the tools works the DTL perfectly but when used by the rule in my business process, the OBX segments are stripped and the MRN is gone. The assigning authority and ID type are added into the PID but the actual patient MRN is blank (3.1 value).

Synopsis: I need to "sideline" messages for subsequent selection and data enrichment while maintaining manageability within the Ensemble framework.

Does anyone know how to disable the auto-refresh in Healthshare, especially for Message viewer , Business process designer, DTL editor pages?  

These pages in management portal refresh every 15min( i.e. as per the session time out setting) . I tried to  set the following two configs to disable the auto refresh but both had no impact.

Was wondering if anyone had a simple way of calling  ##class(Ens.Director).EnableConfigItem() within a Business Process or adding code to a Custom Service to start or stop the object?

The use case is that I have a Process that uploads a file into a external SQL table. When it is finished I want it to kick off another Service that does the processing of the data that it just uploaded. Once it is finished the response is sent back to the service and when the service receives the response from the process, I want to stop that service from running.

so.

I created the Process to extract the required data from ADT message to a Dynamic Object. I wanted to send the JSON stream to EnsLib.File.PassthroughOperation operation and generate a file with the content of JSON stream.

I want to process more requests per second in Ensemble 2015 (soap service). My problem is in a business process that makes a great transformation. I thought that I can put its group size to 4 (the current value is 1), or put 4 business processes and apply, for example, the round-robin algorithm.
Which alternative is better?

Is there a way to send certain message based of source into top of the queue of business operation.. so that that message will processed right away.

I'm pretty new to ensemble.I'm working on a BPL process where I need to retrieve a result set from an SQL activity, loop over the results, and call a web service. I'm having trouble passing the request parameter(Labtype) into the SQL query for the WHERE condition .Can any one suggest how to loop over the result set as well.Any suggestions on how I can achieve it?

I have a Business Service that reads a file from a folder and sends it as a string to a Business Process. In the business process, I need to add a string to the end of the file string that is coming into the Business Process. I am trying to do this in object script in studio and I am struggling to figure out how to add the string to the end of the other string. I am still new to studio and object script I have been reading up on the documentation and I am not sure what is the best way to accomplish this.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
