I'm trying to POST a JSON on an URL. 

But the body request arrive empty on the web service :

I have a question about using OnInit() within a Ens.BusinessOperation.

When you include OnInit(), does OnInit() only execute when you start a Business Operation? Or does it execute OnInit () every time you send a REST request to the operation. I am trying to pinpoint when the best time is to execute the POST command to get the Token

I am needing to get a Bearer Token from a REST POST call and return the Authorization key prior to making the rest of the REST calls to pull down data.

When not using OAuth, what have you done to get the Token prior to executing any Requests?

I am trying to explore some new possibilities outside of the normal day to day HL7 interfacing we do. I have only done 1 other Web Service interface but it was using a SOAP proxy wizard. Now I am tasked with trying to make a call to an external API

but I am a bit confused about how to go about doing it. Since they don't have a wsdl, this means it is a REST web service correct? or is it considered an API call?

I have a service that takes a file and pass it through to the production .While I am passing the file through I get the file stream and set it to a variable within my message and the variable is of type %Ens.StreamContainer. But after all processing and I need to write out my file to a pdf format The file gets written but is a corrupt file since I can not read it I have tried this with asimple pass through everything is fine .But here I do not know what I am doing wrong here is the operation code

I have a requirement to update the Ensemble Host Settings Programmatically.  Mainly the  "AlertOnError,QueueCountAlert,QueueWaitAlert,InactivityTimeout" settings.
I used Ens_Config.Item (persistent) class to get the settings (list object) and then update it. But for some of the Business Host's, I dont see the above settings in the table, but present in Settings of that particular Host in Ensemble Management Portal. So my logic is not working.

Why is that and how to write a code to update the above settings for all the hosts ?

Please let me know the way to achieve my requirement.

Hi everyone, 

I'm working on a Business Operation whit an HTTP Outbound Adapter and I would like to know if is possible to adjust the FailureTimeout value based on the incoming message type. For example, I would like to have a FailureTimeout of 60 seconds for the standard operations and a FailureTimeout of -1 (wait forever) for few special operations that absolutely need a response. 

Can we dynamically modify the FailureTimeout through code, based on either the incoming message type or a specified parameter?n the incoming message type or depending by a parameter?

Can you connect to FHIR through ensemble or do you have to have HealthShare to connect to FHIR services?

I have a case where our EMR is sending data, but not all the values needed for the Ancillary are valued properly and causes that message to error/halt processing on the Ancillary system, not ideal but its what they do. I would expect them to still process the message except that 1 field, but they don't.

I want to add validation to make sure certain fields are valued correctly for the Vendor. 

So I add some statements to take those items that don't pass this validation out to a batch file with headers.

But I want to email out that batch file.

Hi guys have an operation that I would like to write the results from the results set to a csv file but have been struggling to get it to work here is my code so far and also here is the error that I get when I try to test this operation using the testing on the ensemble

In my Business Operation I need to execute a bookkeeping method every X seconds.

How can I do that?

There are two workarounds (I dislike both):

1. Execute bookkeeping on process start - but there might be no requests at all
2. Create a BS that sends messages to BO every X seconds - it makes production more complex and also queues might not guarantee that the method is executed on schedule.

Working on to learn very basic CUSTOM Business Service which sends to a  EnsLib.File.PassthroughOperation.

But operation is not writing to File and erroring out (No Stream contained in StreamContainer Request")'.

How do convert the object to STREAM and wrap in the StreamContainer so the operation does not error and write to a file.

Still a newbie for ensemble, I am trying to convert XML message to HL7 Message. I am using Custom schema for XML structure which includes MSH and PID segments from HL7 Message.

I am using data transformation to convert XML message to HL7 message  and data transformation is working fine and im getting this in the business operation.

I created the Process to extract the required data from ADT message to a Dynamic Object. I wanted to send the JSON stream to EnsLib.File.PassthroughOperation operation and generate a file with the content of JSON stream.

Hi,

I'm getting mad trying to get data from an external REST service that uses Basic Authentication from Ensemble. The BO worked fine when I was using a test server without authentification, but as soon as we need to go to production I cannot have it working.

So far, I've created the username/password at the credentials page (Ensemble-Configure-Credentials). I've setup the BO to use this credentials. But nothing happens.

I've tried with the Rest Client (addon for Mozilla), and using the same address, port and user/pwd works just fine.

I created a Business Operation to Integrate with Amazon S3.
I have used HTTP Outbound Adapter for the same. Used Get method of Adapter Class.
Basically in a request I want to send Unique File Name and File and in Response I want to get Version ID and if operation was successful, then set flag to true.

I have a HealthShare HealthConnect operation which uses the EnsLib.HTTP.OutboundAdapter. It is using a custom Operation class to send HTTP Post request. The request data that is sent to the operation and the response back from the operation is not  displayed on the visual trace. Is there anyway to display this data in the trace?

Hi, We recover a large amount of data from an external database (SQLServer, about 1 million rows in JDBC).
However, we have treatment time issue.
This process takes more than 30 minutes whereas on a "classic" SQL Server Management Studio type request takes less than a minute.

It explains how in Java, we can tweak the FetchSize parameter of the JDBC driver to optimize this kind of process.

Is there a way to access this JDBC parameter through the EnsLib.SQL.

This may seem a bit strange, but I'd like to make a business operation which would put a file via SFTP and then confirm that the filesize on the remote server is consistent with expectations.  I am thinking either of a custom copy or extension of the adapter (right now it is using EnsLib.FTP.OutboundAdapter) that overwrites method PutStream, or a version of the FTP.PassThroughOperation with a customized method OnMessage that does the check after the PutStream completes OK-- but I am uncertain of how exactly to modify either method to make the check.

We are facing what seems to be a network problem while transferring HL7 messages from Ensemble/Healthshare to a distant target through TCP/IP.

Then the configuration of the operation:

NB high numbers for Read- and Response-Timeouts come from "long" transfers occuring sometimes, e.g. HL7 messages with about 600 segments, successfully transferred if we let them this "long" time.

Hi Team, 

Is there any way to disable all operation ( or services) in a production entirely? 

For example when restoring from one HealthShare environment to another we may need to get the configs (IP, port, ssl etc ) updated before staring the operation. We set the production autostart to disabled but still need to disable the operation one by one if we want to start production without operations enabled.

Hi, I’m trying to setup a Business Operation where the Property is a drop down list of Strings.  I was able to produce the desired effect but only using a hard coded list like Property LookupProp As %String(VALUELIST = ",value1,value2").  Instead I would like it to be populated from lookup table so I created a method to use SQL to fetch the result set from a Lookup table and then return it as the desired string. But doesn't allow me to do declare the property using the method like this: Property LookupProp As %String(VALUELIST = ##class(MyClass).

I open up an XML reader class and correlate the XML to a message type. 

My XML will read something like 

This gets correlated into a message with the following property

I can use the following to get the other properties out 

i.e.  docs.RelayedDocuments.GetAt(i).

In the Business Operation, how do we get to know which source is currently sending primary request if there are multiple requests coming at the same time?
