in Management Portal on Freespace screen there are links to compact and truncate a database.

Can these tasks be done programmatically? I have looked through documentation and dont see anything but I hope I just missed it.

I am currently using IKO 3.6 to deploy an irisCluster on EKS, but I am facing some challenges. Firstly, I need assistance in understanding how to connect to the Web Gateway sidecar. If anyone has experience with this, I would greatly appreciate any guidance or advice you can offer. Secondly, I am trying to utilize the 'seed: path' options of irisDatabases, but I am unsure of the best approach. Our application has a ZEN report that accepts a sorting parameter and a fundraiser parameter. Sorting tells us which order the pages are to be in and the fundraiser limits the data shown (e.g. which user has requested the report)

In cache studio there are features, dialog boxes, that help map data from a global to class properties.
I have used %CacheSQLStorage quit a bit, or have in the past, to map globals to classes.

I haven't been able to find a similar feature in VisualStudio.
Do I need to upgrade to IRIS to be able to use VisualStudio to map global properties to classes?

Hello,

I would like to get a list of all globals that have been read or written during a given context. In Portal, there are counters in dashboard that give the number of read/write to globals in general.

What I am looking for :

- some handler (eg: like $ZTRAP) that will be called everytime something is read/written to a global.

- to activate a "global log mode" in Portal that will dump some information to a file (like ^ISCSOAP for SOAP requests).

Python Object Not Found

I'm in a very early phase of an project where some of the methods should be written in python. Occasionally, projects also have byproducts, I call them utility methods, because some of the methods the project uses can also be used in other applications too. I tend to put such methods in percent classes, so they can be used everywhere, independent of the namespace, where an application runs. I try to do the same in my current project too, merely with python it doesn't works! Why?

Hi!

Currently, I'm working on a script using %SYS.Journal API.

My journal files are compressed, following the documentation the compression is zstd.

I tried to unzip a file with zstd tool, ex: 

apt-get update
apt-get install zstd

zstd -d 20230806.001z -o 20230806.001

20230806.001z        : 92.03%   (909312 => 836859 bytes, 20230806.001)

Unfortunately, the unzipped file is invalid:

Hi everyone,

today I'm asking your help with an issue related to the response messages sent from my production to a client software, such as Postman or SoapUI.

Issue

In the last few days I've been unable to view the responses received from my production in Postman, even if I was able to do so earlier. I'm sending the request to a remote server reachable via a Putty tunnel.

I am exploring a way to make IRIS an immutable system where the production/operation IRIS is never changed. Changes are only made in Development, and then the "version" is copied to production/operation and stated.

For this to work, I will need data (objects) on a file share and the IRIS system on different systems. When the "new" version spins up, it will use the latest data.

I do not know if I can or how to separate "object data" from classes and code.

Trying to setup my first OAuth 2 client to authenticate against Epic's Interconnect instance that is hosting FHIR/Web Service API's. Epic's documentation says the JWT request has to be sent as a POST request..

Does 

GetAuthorizationCodeEndpoint

and 

GetImplicitEndpoint

automatically put the request into a POST request, or do I need to format a %Net.HttpRequest to POST?

I wonder if anyone has a smart idea to extract an XML fragment inside a text document (incoming from a stream)?

The XML fragment is surrounded by plain text.

Example:

The XML is not represented by any class or object in the Namespace.

The XML can look different from time to time
