Hi,

I have a spring-boot Java application which has Quartz Scheduler (spring-boot-quartz-starter) dependency, and uses IRIS DB.
There is a problem with making Quartz Scheduler work with IRIS since there is a blob field expected in two tables, but IRIS is using longvarbinary type.
Can you provide me with clues on how to resolve this?

I am using org.quartz.impl.jdbcjobstore.StdJDBCDelegate driverDelegateClass.

This is the error:
MisfireHandler: Error handling misfires: Couldn't retrieve trigger: invalid stream header: 41434544

InterSystems has encountered a defect that causes some upgrades of HealthShare® Health Connect to fail. This only affects instances that are not licensed for the use of FHIR® and that have interoperability-enabled namespaces. Under these conditions, the upgrade fails with an <HSFHIRErr> error.

Hello,

I have a .NET based web application and would like to front end it with an Iris4Health server, ie possible using the CSP or web application url's to reoute to the requests into the docker container. Kinda of like a reverse proxy but using Iris for health. Is the external language server a good use for this or is that only for direct interaction with I4H?

I know you can create a custom container with the app copied into it, but not sure if that is the best way.

Any suggestions on how I could accomplish this would be appreciated.

In my previous article, Using LIKE with Variables and Patterns in SQL, we explored how the LIKE predicate behaves in different scenarios, from Embedded SQL to Dynamic SQL, and what happens to performance when wildcards and variables come into play. That piece was about getting comfortable writing a working LIKE query. But writing SQL that works is only the starting point. To build applications that are reliable, scalable, and secure, you need to understand the best practices that underpin all SQL, including queries that use LIKE.

This article takes the next step. We’ll look at a few key points to help strengthen your SQL code, avoid common pitfalls, and make sure your SELECT statements run not just correctly, but also efficiently and safely. I'll use SELECT statements with LIKE predicate as an example along the way, showing how these broader principles directly affect your queries and their results.

*This is what Gemini came up with for this article, kinda cute.

Hi Community,

We're continuing to improve and teach our Developer Community AI, and in this iteration, we've added descriptions of Open Exchange Applications to the knowledge base!

This new feature will allow DC AI to search app descriptions to answer your questions. This will give you better answers that require programming, not just general information.

To add this knowledge to your search, just tick the checkbox Open Exchange Applications:

I am using a JDBC connection to MS SQL server to execute a stored procedure to select data and bring it into InterSystems as a EnsLib.SQL.Snapshot. I loop through the EnsLib.SQL.Snapshot using a while loop, but I also want to iterate through the Columns within that Row to do logic.

Is there a way to iterate through the Columns of the current Row of the EnsLib.SQL.Snapshot so I can apply logic/rules for further processing?

Thanks

Scott

I have a business process that adds data to a global variable on receipt of an HL7 message, and a scheduled task that executes a class method defined within the same business process that removes data from the same global variable. With this in mind it makes sense to consider concurrency and therefore make use of the LOCK command.

My first question is whether this is actually necessary?

Hello Community,

I have encountered the following SQL problem trying to create a table from a SELECT statement.

I narrowed the problem down to the following example:

1. The SELECT statement alone works as expected.

SELECT m.Name, h.Status
FROM EnsLib_HL7.Message m, Ens.MessageHeader h
WHERE h.MessageBodyClassName='EnsLib.HL7.Message' AND h.MessageBodyID = m.ID

2. But if "CREATE TABLE ... AS" is added it fails

XCPD versus PDQ Settings

I noticed that the XCPD processor has a setting for PDQ minimum threshold and maximum record count returned, but PDQ does not have these settings. Can anyone explain why? They are essentially the same service.

Good morning,

first of all thank you for taking the time to read and answer this question.

Recently, since we have upgraded to HealtShare 2020, we experienced the fact that when opening in the Studio the Process (.bpl) and Transformation (.dtl) classes, it asks us to log in, i.e. username and password, almost every time we open a new Process or Transformation.

However, in previous versions, I think we had HealthShare 2016 or 2017 or 2018, and in it, you could log in from the Studio in Processes and Transformations, logging in 1 time only.

Hi,

It's me again😁, recently I am working on generating some fake patient data for testing purpose with the help of Chat-GPT by using Python. And, at the same time I would like to share my learning curve.😑
