We are on 2019.1 HealthShare Ensemble. Has anyone upgraded from 2019.x to an IRIS version? What was beneficial and the functionality you wanted and gained from the IRIS version. How long was your downtime?
Hello programmers !! I'm learning COS and Ensemble and also I started to work with this technology and I did set up vscode to program, but I don't know how to set up the vscode terminal for COS. Could anyone help me? I'm a beginner with this technology
Intersystems recently announced a partnership with unqork. I would like to know if someone already used this tool, or another tool, and how was the experience. Is there within the intersystems ecosystem (partners) any low-code tool that generates COS? Tks
I plan to install an Apache Web server (2.4.x) on a Linux server. The IRIS DB server is running on a separate Linux Server . Do I need to install Intersystems IRIS software on the Web server to allow the web gateway and CSP server to communicate ? I read through a few IS documents, however, it's still not clear if I need to install IS on the Web servers .. Any help would be appreciated ..
I have a persistent class that represents cities across the United States. It is below, but basically has a City Id, Name, Lat, Lon and a few other unimportant fields for this issue. Anytime I attempt to query on the Latitude or Longitude it immediately returns no results. My first thought was that it was a casting issue so I tried casting both sides to floats, ints, even strings and in all cases it immediately comes back with no results. I then decided to cast it to a string and attempt a like statement thinking it might be something about how floats are handled, but still no joy. Any
Is there anyway I an do a Constraint base on the file name? I only see things like source and document name and wanted to do routing base on file name?
Attached to this post is a PDF document outlining some of the key enhancements included with 2016.2. I will be giving a WebEx session that is open to all tomorrow at 11 AM EST. Once the WebEx is over I will be adding a link to the recording for those who cannot attend.

Surely you wanted to use the OpenAPI Specification (OAS) JSON you used for your spec class on the iris-web-swagger-ui iris package. The generated OAS from the ##class(%REST.API).GetWebRESTApplication(...) method is very crude, with no description on the parameters or the expected response structure.
So after creating your REST application from an OAS you should have:
1. The %ObjectSelectMode is working perfectly in the DynamicSQL for the object property in direct query. However this is not supported for class query. Is there any way to resolve this / Get the object value for class query result.
In this article, I'll show you how to run code at compile time with ObjectScript macros.
Here's a use case that recently led me to use this feature:
As part of a medical application developed for more than 20 years, we have a large number of parameters. Although we have procedures for documenting these settings, it can be helpful to have a quick view of which settings are actually used by the application code.

IntegratedML is a feature helps us and our teams easily implement machine learning (ML) without dedicated ML experts and data scientists. If you do not need particularly complex ML function, integratedML is a good choice and convenient that only requires executing 3 SQL queries to build predictive models directly from InterSystems IRIS to ML engine.
I'm VERY novice on all things "OpenAM", and beyond knowing that Caché supports working with OpenAM, I have nothing else to go on.
The documentation doesn't seem to be very deep on the nature of how this works beyond a single paragraph saying it's supported for Single Sign On (SSO).
This week is a voting week for the InterSystems Interoperability Contest! So, it's time to give your vote to the best solutions built with InterSystems IRIS.
I would like a REST client to be able to send a custom header with the http request, for example "APPLICATION-ID".
This can be seen in the CSP gateway trace but I have tried using %request.GetCgiEnv("HTTP_APPLICATION-ID") in various formats and parts of the classes but cannot work out where I can get this. Documentation says this should work but is for normal CSP pages.
The underlying changes include a new style sheet and a complete rewrite of the code we use to generate HTML. (There is now an underlying API for retrieving content as JSON, as well as a large set of unit tests -- for those of you who like that kind of thing!)
Can anyone tell me what controls the contents of the Facility column of the Encounters tab in the clinical viewer of Healthshare? I am ADT messages to populate the columns and have been unable to change the displayed value.
