I am receiving a JSON File as Stream container Using pRequest As Ens.StreamContainer and output as Output pResponse As %Persistent in a Custom Business Operation
I am trying to read binary data from HTTP Request Stream and build a Dynamic Object with multiple properties. I am getting MAXSTRING error with this code:
Trying to pass pdf to save to custom file using default Trying to pass pdf to save to custom file and %f. but oriignal filename didn't send (it does in terminal). What is missing from setting filename from stream? can the file passthrough not out of box use outputfilename or has wrong default one been sent.
I successfully setup a REST web application with JWT enabled, which is fantastic. My next configuration 'challenge' is to add 2FA to this REST app. First question first - is this possible with the OpenAPI generated /login? The end goal is to build out a SPA (React) using /login for the JWT and adding the Auth bearer token for api calls. I'd like to prevent the token generation until the 2FA is satisfied - or generate the token, but test if the 2FA is satisfied before allowing calls forward. Hope that's clear.
Hello everyone! Sorry for the vague title! But I wonder what would be the best way to easily import a large XML-file into a production, modifying it by deleting elements and nodes depending on what values are in those nodes/elements and later creating whole new XML-file from that?
When using VS Code to develop with Object Script, the Server Credentials prompt for connecting to the IRIS instance is happy accept a blank for UnknownUser. See screen shot:
Hi everybody,
I am trying to connect with an IRIS database where to retrieve data and import them to SQL server but the access gets denied.
I would appreciate your help,
Thank you,

I have an IRIS installation that is using 8-bit charset encoding (set to deu8 / Latin 1). I would like to convert everything (database and system) to Unicode
Charset encoding is something asked during installation, is it possible to change this on the fly ? The installer clearly say that Unicode systems cannot be converted. What about 8 bit ?
Same for database : is there possible conversion ?
Epic had changed some of their logic on their Incoming Radiology Results which now require an Ordering Provider even though it is supposed to account for it within the Epic Interface settings.
I was wondering if we are using a custom schema if there was a way to default a value into OBR:16 if it was not valued without having to modify all the DTL's for these Results.
Is there a way to set this via the schema editor or in the background so we don't have to create/update DTL's or create a custom TCP Operation Class??
Been testing out the Production Validator toolkit, just to see what we can/not do with it. Seems really interesting and there seem to be some use cases for it that can really streamline some upgrades (or at least parts of upgrades) but I was running into so many hurdles with the documentation. I am curious if anyone else has used it.
I am creating a new rule as per screen shot below but my when condition is not matching. Please can anyone help me to understand as what could be the issue? I tried to get trace value for PV1.3.1 segment but it's returning null value.
I am trying to create a simple example of allowing binary (tiff) files to be selected and uploaded asynchronously to an IRIS for Health back-end. I have managed to write the HTML and Javascript which works great with regular text / ascii files, but fails with binary files.
When I upload a binary file (tiff) image I get garbage like this on the database server
I'm planning to have a web-based management and deployment interface. For now I have started writing some .mac scripts. Will I be able to call these from a web page? Or do I just need to start with Zen?
Since cache is an OOP language, how can I create 2 methods with the same name but different parameters? Right now when I try that I get a compile time error!

I am hoping some of you network guys have ideas. InterSystems seems to be at a standstill. When I startup Studio and try to start Terminal I get License Limit Exceeded. Starting with Terminal and going to Studio, same thing. It started when I put down a 2016 version of Cache on top of a 2015. InterSystems told me to uninstall everything and start fresh. I did that but have the same problems. What can I look at? How do I start to debug this? Although I am the only one on my PC it is really impacting my performance.
