Hi,

Looking for some guidance on setting up IRIS to use single sign on to authenticate with ADFS.

We have a request for users to automatically launch IRIS without the need to login, the user will be authenticated by Single Sign on (SSO) against ADFS.

Do we need to have a authorization server as well as a client, ADFS will handle all the authentication side, so would it be a case of configuring IRIS client up to communicate with ADFS, following the link below?

Rule logic

In an HL7 Business rule I am trying to block ONLY ORM messages that have a PV1:3.4 of 105 or 205 and a OBR:4 value of EP22 or CATH01.

I created the logic below but it appears to be evaluating the two fields independently instead of combined?

Here is what I had.

VSCode interop

When we add a new class in VSCode, the name automatically is set to <Folder>.<Filename>.

Because we are doing interoperability, we remove the default and type "interop" to get assistance on creating the class. This works fine on some machines, however on others it generates:

Currently, the SQL privileges (SELECT, INSERT, UPDATE, DELETE) are managed at the tables level, which can be very tedious when you have to administer many roles in an organization, and need to keep them sync with a constantly evolving data models.
By managing privileges at the schemas level, will allow to give SELECT and other DML privileges to *all* or *several schemas* to a role|user, fixing the need to manually synchronize the new tables|views to the roles.

Hello community, I need to solve a complex but trivial issue.

Given:

Two tables "Comment" and "Post". Each one contains an "Author" field, which is essentially a user ID. In these tables, each user ID represents an author. The goal is to count all participants together and then group them by month, language, and other metrics.

The question is how to do this within the IRIS ecosystem. Is it even possible to take two tables, get distinct data from them and then combine into one cube?

I am trying to lock down security within our Development environment per requirements from a Security Audit that was done earlier this year. I need to try to limit access at a public level, access to cache users, and exposure.

I installed IRIS with the Lockdown method, and have configured my web applications, services, resources, etc.

When I go into my namespace, I am constantly presented with the following error when I try to start or stop an Object...

I'm trying to install the Inter System IRIS data platform in windows and I'm not able to download the installer file. Some one can help me with this.

Please look at the below image for the reference for the error I'm facing

And also I'm looking for the docker version of the IRIS, but here also I'm not able to identify the IMAGE for the same. Please look into the below image.

Working on a project where we have a web browser that we have to determine a pickup date/time for a pharmacy in a different time zones.

We store the different time zones with their Daylight and Standard offsets.

We have a object script method that figures out the the pickup date/time for a particular pharmacy in their local time zone but the data is being returned in the $H format.

I am looking to run IRIS for UNIX on the Linux Ubuntu 22.04 platform and need to determine which filesystem configurations are considered supported. The three options under consideration are Ext4, LVM with Ext4, and OpenZFS. Currently, the system is running on a raw Ext4 filesystem, but there is a desire to switch to either LVM with Ext4 or OpenZFS to make it easier to handle disk usage.

This leads to two questions:

Are either of these two configurations considered to be tested and supported by InterSystems?

Request LDAP

Hello,

I need to make an LDAP query to retrieve information about a specific team of employees. I have a custom service that instantiates a message of type EnsLib.LDAP.Message.Search with a filter matching the search and redirects it to an operation of type EnsLib.LDAP.Operation.Standard. I didn't get any errors, but I didn't get any results either. So I created an operation that inherits from EnsLib.LDAP.Operation.Standard and I overloaded the method to retrieve something. I get this:

Hello everybody,

I've been experimenting with Embedded Python and have been following the steps outlined in this documentation: https://docs.intersystems.com/irislatest/csp/docbook/DocBook.UI.Page.cls...

I'm trying to convert a python dictionary into an objectscript array but there is an issue with the 'arrayref' function, that is not working as in the linked example.

This is a snapshoot of my IRIS terminal:

Recently viewed a demo on the new Dynamic Objects in InterSystems (we are still running 2016.1); together with the upcoming IRIS data platform I started thinking about possibilities of building dynamic databases. That is, I can imagine some projects were it might be really nice to store dynamic objects and then run sql queries on them without ever defining the fields of the dynamic objects (i.e. not at storage, but only if you run your sql query).
