When you need to know the impact on a change in your project, it is very useful to see class dependencies in a network diagram. The IRIS Connections project allows you to see it.

Several steps should be done in order to secure the connection through xDBC clients to an IRIS Server instance using TLS. Most of the information can be obtained from the documentation about TLS on IRIS here, about configuring the security layer for encrypted connections. In the next paragraphs we will cover an step-by-step guide on how to configure and test the connection using SQL Clients apps using ODBC and JDBC.

native-api-py-demo

This is a demo of IRIS Native API for Python, which uses Python to call the Object Script method and flow the message in production. Python obtains the message after flow and the message in global, and uses ZPM Package deployment.

InterSystems announces its second developer preview for the 2023.3 release of InterSystems IRIS^® and InterSystems IRIS for Health^TM.

Future preview releases are expected to be updated biweekly and we will add features as they are ready.

We are moving away from Delegated Authentication in which I stored a username and password for our LDAP in a GLOBAL to be called by ZAUTHENTICATE.

Is there a way to pull in that GLOBAL into the LDAP Configuration within the Managment Portal instead of having to manually enter it? There seems to be an issue with Copy/Paste that the password isn't being set correctly when I use Copy/Paste.

Else I just export/import the LDAP Configuration from 1 server to another and manually update the Certificate to point to the correct file.

The 2023.3 releases of InterSystems IRIS Data Platform, InterSystems IRIS for Health, and InterSystems IRIS Studio are now Generally Available (GA).

RELEASE HIGHLIGHTS

2023.3 is a Continuous Delivery (CD) release. Many updates and enhancements have been added in this release:

In part I of this article, we have already learned more about HL7, its messages, structure, segments, and fields. In this part II, we will show you how to transform proprietary/custom data into HL7 using IRIS for Health. For our sample, we used the data generated by the SYNTHEA bulk data generation project (https://synthea.mitre.org/downloads). So, we will show you how to convert 1000 patients from a CSV file to HL7 v2, using the Interoperability features of IRIS for Health.
