Welcome everybody!

In this short article I would like to present an example of use that surely many of you who work with IRIS as the backend for your web applications have faced on more than one occasion and it is how to send a file to your server from the frontend.

Generally the simplest way I have found to perform this task is to transform the file from the frontend to the Base64 format and make a POST call to our server attaching the Base64 obtained to a JSON message in which I indicate in a parameter the name of the file and in another the encoded data. Something similar to this:

Hello all,

I am trying to start java gateway and constantly getting an error in terminal:
"%RemoteService+3^%Net.Remote.Gateway.1 *%Exception.StatusException ERROR #5023: Remote Gateway Error: TCP error on port '55555', ensure there is an Object Gateway running on this port". I've checked jvm and it is running properly, telnet also is able to connect to the port.

Has anyone encountered this issue before?

I am attempting to setup my first OAuth2 client, as we are adventuring into the realm of making FHIR API calls to our EMR from HealthShare Health Connect. 

I have gone through and set up the Issuer Endpoint, and Client Configuration but now I want to test it and verify that the setup is correct. When I setup the Client Configuration, it would not allow me to use Discovery as it was saying I needed a "Client secret" but was not given one. So I set it up manually, thinking I hit all the information correctly.

However, if I go through the documentation and use GetAuthorizationCodeEndpoint, I am

automatically put the request into a POST request, or do I need to format a %Net.HttpRequest to POST?

Case description

Let’s imagine that you are a Python developer or have a well-trained team specialized in Python, but the deadline you got to analyze some data in IRIS is tight. How do i Install HS.FHIRServer.Installer in InterSystems IRIS?

I'm in a very early phase of an project where some of the methods should be written in python. Occasionally, projects also have byproducts, I call them utility methods, because some of the methods the project uses can also be used in other applications too. I tend to put such methods in percent classes, so they can be used everywhere, independent of the namespace, where an application runs. I try to do the same in my current project  too, merely with python it doesn't works! Why?

The question is, what is wrong with the (%Zpy.Utility) class below?

My newest app includes a java routine to read data from Excel 95, 97, 2000, XP, and 2003 workbooks and write the data into IRIS globals using Java Native API library.

If you have Git and Docker installed, clone/git pull the repo into any local directory

We have currently developed a REST Operation

I'm converting a .NET gateway interface (call .NET code from IRIS) from the old "Caché style" that use imported proxy class to the new $system.external .NET gateway as documented in:

For simple case it works and I'm fine, unfortunately I don't understand how to implement/access .NET arrays from IRIS and unfortunately the documentation has no info whatsoever on how to work with arrays.

What I'm looking for is how to implement the same code as described in the old .NET gateway

I have a BPL that I set up a trace to check if the ProcRsltStatus Order is 1. Because the trace is set up in the BPL, I am having issues in searching traces that have the 1 in the message viewer. Any idea how I can limit my search to only the ones with ProcRsltStatus Order::1? Thanks in advance.
