Hi community!

Is it possible generate HTML documentation to my project ObjectScript classes (.cls)?

In Java we use Javadoc to do it. Javadoc get class comments and java metadata information and when I execute javadoc -d doc src\*, I get whole html documentation to my classes. Has IRIS something like javadoc? Is it documatic? If yes, how can I use it?

I am Zainab a Medical Practitioner for a leading hospital in India. 

But i am about to start my new clinic and gradually build it to a hospital as well. 

I already have a very strong patient Data Base but I am afraid that day by day as it is increasing i will need a better one to handle things. 

I have a considerable amount of knowledge in IT as well. that is when I came across this thing called IRIS. 

I also saw we can use it for free. 

I need more details please on this. 

I also see many versions of IRIS. Please clarify that for me as well please.

I'm trying to access the categories configuration for the WorkMgr via COS, so I can be able to create new categories for our processes and this way try to overlock the limit of cores*2 workers. I've seen that last version of IRIS is supposed to have a menu on the portal (System Administration > Configuration > System Configuration > WQM Categories), but since we are in 2020.1 this doesn't exist. 

Does anyone have experience with WQM.API to manage the categories, or the usage of ^%SYS("WQM") to set it directly?

The application I work with has a need to update a user's google password using a service account and no user intervention other than clicking a link.  
I'm in the process of figuring out how to do that from an IRIS server.
I've set up an OAuth 2.0 client with one client configuration, attempting to follow the documentation in https://community.intersystems.com/post/intersystems-iris-open-authoriz… as much as possible.  
I also set up an SSL configuration to be used with Google.

I'm attempting to set up an Apache Rewrite Rule so that a url picks up a different csp page.

For example I want Apache http://hostname/csp/test/foo.csp to redirect to http://hostname/csp/test/bar.csp

I have created $zf  commands to encrypt/decrypt a file using GNUpg which is working fine in Terminal but not populating output file when I call this from BPL process. Any help would be appreciated!!

PEX Java classes are not in the maven public repository, so I need to download pex jar file. Where is PEX jar file can be found to download?

 What reference (dlls) do I need to add for that? I have InterSystems.Data.IRISClient.dll , what else do I need? what am I missing here?

I find the Data Import Wizard very handy. Has anyone thought of enabling the form in the application where it can be adapted for application user requirement?

I'm being asked if I can set up a AWS EC2 containerised version of IRIS and a separate AWS EC2 installation of Apache to serve IRIS web files.

Creating the Apache EC2 and containerised IRIS EC2 is the simple bit but getting them both to talk to each other does not seem quite so simple and I cannot find any documentation to describe how this can be achieved.

Has anyone else managed to achieve this?

Hi, I am new to IRIS and We are planning to setup a CI pipeline on AWS VM deploying the iris data platform container. I am trying to find out which folders needs to be inside the source control and where (exact folder) the updated code needs to be pulled in the container. I would be much obliged if anyone cant point the CI CD related documentation.

I am pleased to say that i have started building a product and I have chosen InterSystems technology to be used in it. 

But I have a confusion with regard to it. 

I actually have to come to a conclusion to whether to use CACHE or IRIS. 

I will be using a lot of data and also integrating it along with Python for DEEP and Machine Learning. 

Also I do not have an idea of how to get the licensed version of either of that. 

I would like to get hold of this and also would like to try out the free version of either Data Bases before moving on to large scale production.

As I am interested in taking part in the  Full Stack Development for IRIS, I tried to download the Software and get hands on experience with it. 

The registration went well, but unfortunately I only got a mail with regard to the download but the Software did not get downloaded. 

I need the help of you experts please.

I'm trying (and not succeeding) to build an index based on a collection property combined with a property, like:

Index Test On (Property, ListProperty(ELEMENTS).Property2)

For example, I have a class with this properties:
Property Simple As %String;
Property ListOfProp As List Of AnotherObject;

The, I try to create a simple index of one of the AnotherObject properties and I can compile and it creates the right index:
Index Test On (ListOfProp(ELEMENTS).Name);

But when I add a "normal" property, compiler miserably fails:
Index Test On (Simple, ListOfProp(ELEMENTS).

Hi everyone, i'm using a render server to make pdf output with zen report and everything was fine till recently i've been getting this error message and i have no idea what it means, i'd be very thankfull if someone could help or got into the same situation.

Error message:

ERROR #5001: net.sf.saxon.trans.XPathException: org.apache.fop.fo.ValidationException: "fo:table-body" is missing child elements. 
Required content model: marker* (table-row+|table-cell+) (See position 817:-1)

This error seems to be "random" if i try to render the same report without changing a single thing it works.

I have a file passthrough service that should check for new new files every 10 minutes, process them and then wait again for 10 minutes, even if there are new files waiting in the source directory. The "CallInterval" value feels like a wrong tool for this need since it would keep the service "locked" for a maximun of 10 minutes before releasin resources.  Is there a better way than CallInterval to schedule the service to poll for files every 10 minutes?

I'm trying to ultimately create a function that I can use with HL7 messages that calls a stored procedure held on a SQL Server.

Initially I tried extending the function class to use the sql inbound adapter and/or EnsLib.SQL.Common, but this wouldn't work from the class method for the function.

Then I attempted to use the linked stored procedure using the wizard where it connected fine and I could find the sp but but it wouldn't return any data when ran. The test sp should just return an int.

The class document produced is this.

I'm not sure how to go about building this scenario:

1. I FTP PUT a file "data.txt" to external directory
2. 3rd party processes that file
3. 3rd party creates a log file "errors.txt" into the same directory
4. My integration build should now 
   1. notice that there is a "errors.txt" file
   2. FTP GET that log file, delete it from server and process it 
   3. but we should also delete the "data.txt" from the server as it is "used" and should no longer be there. It is essential that "data.txt" must only be deleted if there is an "errors.txt" file and we have downloaded it

In Atelier I can click File --> New --> Class File, and File --> New --> Custom File etc to launch various wizards and templates to help me quickly create DeepSee KPI classes, %Installer manifests, Web Services and the like. Of course, all these are available through Studio as well. Is there anything similar in VSCode? If so where? I've looked at several videos and the documentation, but I haven't seen anything.

Hi all, I am having problems trying to get Docker to run correctly on my Linux Mint machine.

I did the following:

1. Installed Docker.

docker --version

Docker version 19.03.6, build 369ce74a3c

docker-compose -v

docker-compose version 1.17.1, build unknown

2. Downloaded zip from https://github.com/intersystems-community/iris-fullstack-template/tree/42f9c174a9a4e63cb5eb3eb646abf3930a6e4d31

and unzipped it

3. Entered the following command:

docker-compose up -d

This generated the following error:

ERROR: Version in "./docker-compose.yml" is unsupported.

Is there an example how to configure the webgateway on linux with kerberos in the dokumentation I found something but not realy in detail so far I understand I need two priniples one service prinple account with for example iris/at-mie-centos_iris.balmie.local@BALMIE.LOCAL-> there is my first problem with the dokumendation the @BALMIE.LOCAL is not dokumented but if you create a keytabfile with ktpass you can't create this without domain. For the secound user principle I am totaly lost how it should work must be both account in the keytabfile?

The idea on the surface is to use the git repos wiki. Are there any other best practices?

There is a project github awesome. Maybe we should include the awesome-objectscript sections in it? And in the future for vscode to develop a plugin for awesome-objectscript ?
