Before I run down the "overengineered solution" path, I wanted to throw this out to the group.

We will be receiving HL7 messages via TCP/MLLP that have a PDF document stored in a single OBX segment. As the volume is expected to be somewhat high and the documents could be megabytes in size, it would be preferable to save the PDF payload to disk and replace it with a filesystem path before IRIS does it's first Save%. The idea being that we would than implement an OnDelete that would remove the file when the HL7 message is purged.

Hi all,

Just wondering if there's a quick way to get the DocType, without knowing it in advance, from a message body by building a string from the VersionID, MessageType, and TriggerEvent fields? (Similar to how it might be done dynamically in Rhapsody)

Can this then be used to set the DocType for a source message?

If this is not the best practice what is a suitable alternative approach?

Thanks for your help,

Upgraded IRIS/Connect to 2022.1 and /api/atelier no longer works through a Web/CSPGateway.  Also upgraded the Web/CSPGateway to version WebGateway-2022. on Ubuntu and HTTPD Server version: Apache/2.4.29 (Ubuntu) with no luck as well.

It doesnt seem to matter if I add /api/atelier or /api/monitor to the enabled applications list, these routes do not make it back to the instance, however /csp, /csp/sys still does.

If I add the same patient data with a different unique ID then it inserts as new data using a POST request.
So, In the FHIR server How can I prevent this kind of thing by using POST requests?
Note:- I don't want to use a PUT request for the same. The main thing is I want to get a unique patient record.
Que:- Is there any way to check data duplication on each FHIR resource?

Thanks & Regards,

Harshdeep Acharya

Security Scans

We are looking for a 3rd party application that can scan our IRIS based Cache Object Script code for vulnerabilities or coding weaknesses.  There are many, many applications/vendors out there that do code scanning but none seem to support Cache Object Script or scanning the IRIS environment.   If anyone is aware of a company/product that can scan our code / IRIS environment, I would love to hear about it.

Thanks in advance for the help.

Are we correct to assume that the IKO topology only allows for the use of one 'data' node type, and one 'compute' node type? So if we want to use several different iris based compute nodes (or data nodes) we have to apply several yaml files? So the following topology config is not possible:

        image: dvza.healthexchange.nl/mmres:0.1
        image: dvza.healthexchange.nl/mmauth:0.1
        image: dvza.healthexchange.nl/somethingelsethatisbasedonirisimage:0.1

Thanks in advance.

I am trying to install IRIS Health CE on a Ubuntu VM, so I can test IAM with it.

I am reaching out to find out if anyone has come across a similar dilemma.

In my current role, I have been asked around the best way to design some patient labels for a client.

I primarily would stick to what I know and veered towards designing the label in ZPL and then creating a Abstract Class to call the ZPL code, however I have been asked why not to design via JReport. The patient labels will be processed via thermal ink printers primarily Zebras, I am wondering if anyone out there has come across this or  would recommend to stick to what you know.
