I need another set of eyes to look at the following. Instead of a Data Lookup table, I wanted to try to lookup a value against a Cache table that I had build. So I thought I could write a function to run a simple SQL query against the Cache Table and return me a %Boolean value back to my routing rule. However today I found that it was not working properly.

Can someone take a look at the following method and verify that I am doing this correct?

index = column name

value = HL7 field that I am passing into the method

I have a vendor that is sending an HL7 message. But when I asked for more detail about their mapping tables, they told me they typically don't supply that but supply an API for customers to call so they don't have to define tables and it is more dynamic.

So with that being said I am creating my first REST operation. I understand the gist of how a REST operation works in working with other types out Non HL7 Operations (SOAP, SQL) before. You send a request and get a response back, that part I understand.

In Event Log there is Assert event type along with Error, Warning, Alert, Trace and Info types. What is Assert event type in Event Log view and What is the use in production?

I'm working on a project were we are going to be receiving a non-HL7 formatted flat file that will contain a single result message per line and each result messages may contain repeating OBX fields that will need to be parsed out so that can be sent as an HL7 ORU messages that contains multiple OBX segments.

we are currently using Libre office to generate a PDF from docx file. but we want generate a PDF file without using the External libraries.

Is there any tool is available with in the Ensemble to covert a file from docx to PDF.

We have a handful of cases where we get reflex orders in an interface that contain multiple OBR segments. These are rare but when we get them, they are causing errors in down stream systems because we are unintentionally excluding OBR segments.

Questions:

At the DTL level - is it possible to iterate over this segment WITHOUT altering the underlying schema? If so what would that look like?

I'm testing an HL7 2.4 -> HL7 2.3.1 set of transformations. For the time being the source (service) and sink (operation) are file adapters. What I'd really like is to be able to save the output file with a name matching/containing the input file name - but as the DTL transformation in between uses "new" rather than "copy" it looks like I'm losing (some of?) the metadata, including the "Source" field (Body tab, message viewer).

Is there any way of preserving the Source field so the OutboundAdapter has access to it?

I am wondering if anyone has created a custom dashboard that can be accessed outside of the Ensemble environment. What I am looking to do is create a dashboard accessible from a person's computer, on the same company network as Ensemble, that can display information regarding specific services, operations, processes, queues, etc. I don't want to give a user access to Ensemble, just allow them to display a page in their browser to give them the information they need to make sure their processes are running.

I need to build something that will receive a REST request. As of now I have tried my luck with using an EnsLib.HTTP.InboundAdapter. But i am not so sure how I am supposed to configure it to be able to receive the REST request together with the JSON body.
I have specified the OnProcessInput in the adapter so that it receives a GlobalCharacterStream. However, I have not had any good luck finding out to actually make the request to the EnsLib.HTTP.InboundAdapter.

The system I am working on processes large numbers of records. Inserts, updates and so forth. There are multiple processes that can potentially work on the same table at the same time.

It is an almost impossible task to try and time these processes to not run at the same time, due to volumes, SLAs, etc.

Every now and then there are a few locking issues, Not many considering the volumes. It is just a bit of a nuisance as we need to reprocess these records later.

Need to make ODBC connection to fetch data from SQL Server to IRIS 2021.1. Once we are able to query the data from SQL server, need to Pass it in ensemble production
