I never ran a Compact & truncate process before and we do have a 4.6TB database with 1.9TB free space available that I would like to recover

I am able to get a service class property DISPLAYLIST into the SETTINGS PARAMETER using the below example from the documention but I am not able to get an adapter property in the same manner. Is there a way to obtain the DISPLAYLIST values from an adapter property into the SETTINGS Parameter?

for reference I am extending the adapter: EnsLib.HL7.Adapter.TCPInboundAdapter

For simplicity sake let's say that we talk about active production.

I need to know if the business host is added to the production or not.

Currently I have:

Which looks like a workaround.

I would like to make the EnsQueue class visible to the Intersystems ODBC client. It appears it must be included in the SQL-visible classes first.

Recently we discussed the naming convention on packages we deploy and even made some choices.

Here I want to have a conversation on the naming convention for unit tests.

Of course, we wish every good library has unit tests. Here is the documentation and some good articles(one, two, three) regarding it on the Developer Community.

Let's decide on the naming of UnitTests packages?

The suggestion is that unit test classes will all start with the UnitTest package name.

E.g. if your library's class name is:

johndoe.lib.class

The related unit test class will be:

UnitTest.johndoe.lib.class

What about folders?

The suggestion is that unit test classes will live separately from source classes, e.g. in /tests directory.

Here is the example of a repository with unit tests that are named and placed according to the proposal.

While I am not new to HL7, I am very new to Ensemble.

We have a request to change the order in which the Addenda segments are sent to the client. Right now, the global setting of the Lab system is to send the newest addenda at the top of the report, then the next oldest, and so on until we get to the final report:

OBX|1|||*****Addendum 3****
OBX|2|||text 3
OBX|3|||*****Addendum 2****
OBX|4|||text 2
OBX|5|||*****Addendum 1****

Looking at the documentation expalining the use of client side menus, including the drop down menu.

I was messing around trying to get the "Open", once clicked, to use javascript to open windows file explorer to open/pick a file.

I've got it to partially work... Using keystrokes Ctrl-O will open the file explorer yet clicking on the drop down's File/Open does nothing.

Not sure what I'm doing wrong here.

NOTE: I had commented out the two &html lines in the Testing Method... and doing a Ctrl-O still work.

Why?

I am new to Intersystems and I am wondering if there exists a NYC tri-state regional or NE regional group for Ensemble?

as i'm trying to develop a operation and its methods (SQL adapter), I'm running into issues when i run my test class.
I have the class i want to test in the very same folder as my test class.
I followed the tutorial in the documentation.
When i run the test class, i get the following message error :

LogStateStatus:0::ERREUR #5002: Erreur Cache: <METHOD DOES NOT EXIST>zTestAdd+1^unitTests.testMyClass.1 *myMethod,Package.BO.MyClass
