Currently, I am working on a CSP application that is supposed to generate reports. Users will have varying access to said reports. To achieve that, I plan to use LDAP (because it's used in other systems where those users already exist). Documentation does not provide enough information, so I'd like a clarification:
Do I need to enable LDAP authentication for the whole Cache instance to use LDAP authentication in a single CSP application in that instance?

I'm using FOP 1.1 for ZEN reports and would like to install fonts within the Windows/Fonts directory.

I added the xml tags in fop.xconf but so far I have been unable to get the correct font.

i am currently struggling following the instructions for reading an image file into the database as a base64 string.

My goal is to save an image into a global as base64. I followed different guides like:

I'm planning to have a web-based management and deployment interface. For now I have started writing some .mac scripts. Will I be able to call these from a web page? Or do I just need to start with Zen?

Let's imagine I have a global like this:

^Users(12, "SETTINGS", "IsAllowed") = 1

^Users(41, "SETTINGS", "IsAllowed") = 0

^Users(52, "SETTINGS", "IsAllowed") = 1

Now I would like to check for each user whether they are allowed, therefore I'd need to iterate through the Global. How to do that? It seems that I can't use $Order here like such:

S FF = ""
For {
S FF=$O(^Users(FF,"SETTINGS","isAllowed"))
Q:$L(FF)
W "User ",FF," is allowed",!
}

Is there any other way of doing this?

I'd like to access and view the soap log. Apparently there is a global for that (^ISCSOAP) (http://docs.intersystems.com/latest/csp/docbook/DocBook.UI.Page.cls?KEY=...), but insofar I have been unsuccessful finding the exact cache command for viewing the soap log or changing it so that it logs both incoming and outgoing traffic. Can anyone enlighten me?

I.e. I am trying stuff like:

I tried to execute the ##Class(%SYS.LDAP).Binds(LD,"",$lb(Username,Domain,Password),$$$LDAPAUTHNEGOTIATE) but this command is returning the value as 7 only instead of 0. Is there any method to find out the error using the returned value.

Suppose we need to store millions of values temporarily, that means, we don't care about them if we lose them but our application use them to get realtime information. Should I use Cachetemp or whatever other DB without journaling enabled? If answer is Cachetemp, shouldn't be a problem if we decide to scale using App Server + ECP? I'm not sure what would happen with the app logic in such architecture as I guess I couldn't map and share cachetemp...

Any idea/suggestion?

I execute the method

This executes correctly as I loop through a list of databases.

I have a bit of code that does a find and replace on a "template" and inserts additional content. For example it replaces the @DATA@ with an html table:

Currently doing this with the $replace function:
