Hello community; this may seem odd, but I need to know if there's any way we could be using callin functions from a C application without knowing? e.g. if other developers created some C programs that call in to Caché that we don't realize are running. Is that possible? If so, where would I look to see these programs? Perhaps the server's task manager?

Currently we have 2 Windows servers in a clustered environment. Is there a setting in HealthShare for a TCP/IP Operation to use the virtual IP address when initiating the connection, rather than the host IP address?

Can we use iknow in the Cache tool means if i don't have deepsee tool to work on like for doing some sample programs. Because i don't have deepsee tool with me?

I am trying to read an xml document using %XML.TextReader and that's is all well and l can get my elements values but would like to determine where the next record start on the xml without referring to the document path in essence would like to use the same method to read different xml docs. I would like to know if is there a way or a function that I can use to get the start and end of a record in xml as I would to get the start and end element.

I have a lot of string properties, which need custom but similar Getters and Setters.

Currently I'm generating Getter and Setter in class generation code but that expands class definition.

Is there a way to specify custom datatype which would generate custom getters and setters?

Hello everyone, I work for a company that currently uses Studio on version 2016.1.2, and will be looking at options to upgrade to 2016.2 and beyond. This would also include the potential to switch from Studio to Atelier, however there are a lot of workflow changes and new features to test.

Does Atelier have a simple way to evaluate what it has to offer without needing to setup an entire separate environment? How did your organization demo its features before committing?

The code I'm researching loosely follows this flow:

1. My first callback
2. Black box
3. My second callback

I can modify 1 and 3 no problem but modifying 2 is difficult.

However I think that step 2 has some optimization problems, namely:

• instantiates lots of objects
• throws/catches lots of exceptions (not logged)

Is there a way to count these two metrics?
