Attempting to setup an outbound (I'm querying out, not querying the IRIS db) SQL connection. I am connecting to a PostgreSQL database, name "hl7interface".

I have setup the odbc.ini file at /usr/local/etc with the following contents:

Driver = PostgreSQL
Description = HL7 Interface DB
Servername = localhost
Port = 5432
Protocol = 7.4-1
#userName = postgres
#Password = <real pw here>
Database = hl7interface
ReadOnly = no
ServerType = Postgres

I have set the /etc/odbcinst.ini file with the location of the PostgreSQL driver:

Iris DAT file is filling up the Internal Storage with available Free Space to Zero. Is there any Alternative measures to reduce the File size or to control the Capacity. Is there any chance to save Local storage.

Once the Local Storage is full, Production is not responding and throwing Out of Space Error.

Does IRIS has any Internal Cloud Storage which can be used for managing and Storing Database Operations. If yes, How can we configure it,

I'm trying to configure a new interface that reads HL7, transform them into FHIR messages and then send POST or PUT or DELETE depending on HL7 doc type.

1-I added an HL7 TCP service that reads ADTs messages

2a-Send ADTs to a process to transform them into SDA (using the following command: do ##class(HS.Gateway.HL7.HL7ToSDA3).GetSDA(request,.con))

2b-Extract the patient MRN and add it to the AdditionalInfo property (using the following request message class: HS.Message.XMLMessage)

When I use Escape logic when inserting or updating Oracle Table I'm getting Max-Length exceeded error. With the original value the length is good but after I add Escape Logic, it causes value to be greater than max-length. The original value was "I visited O'Brien before heading out of town." and after added Escape logic it was "I visited O''Brien before heading out of town." Max-Length is 45.

I recently created a shell script to run the integrity check.

I used this as reference - Introduction | InterSystems IRIS Data Platform 2023.3

I found the example from above url having a line - "

kill ^IRIS.TempIntegrityOutput(+$job)

it isn't working when I used in a script. it returns the pid of my iris session instead.

I cannot get any further hint from the error message in red in this screenshot. Is there any clue or details about the connection failure that I could look for?

I have a problem with connecting to IRIS via ODBC on Apple Silicon.

I installed unixodbc with brew, and downloaded ODBC-2023.1.0.229.0-macos.tar.gz from the community github repo.

After setting up odbc.ini so that libirisodbcur6435.so that was just downloaded is used as the driver, isql fails as follows:

I am very new to IRIS. We are developing a PHP application that connects to an IRIS instance of one of our vendors. I am having trouble with a specific table. When I need to query this specific table for specific fields, I am receiving an error. However, if I change the call to get all columns (`*`), there is no error. I get 37K records returned.

I know we can use Do ^DBREST and EXTSELCT ^DBREST or EXTALL ^DBREST to recover the database. But now I just want to use Do ^DBREST to achieve database recovery through this method.

Any help would be greatly appreciated
