We have several rules in router to validate HL7 messages, each rule check a particular field in HL7 message and send back response. We want to run all rules and combine the rules responses into some variable/object and at the end if variable/object is empty it means message is valid, else send the value from this variable/object. This way one message we dont run it again and again, and we can send one message and response will give us combine results from all rules.
For example,
Rule 1 - Check MSH.12 field, Send response "MSH.12 value not valid", and RETURN

I'm currently implementing an interface solution to send through data to community pharmacies here in the UK from our hospital PAS system. As part of this project i have created a BPL which calls a SQL operation to infiltrate our Data warehouse and add to the message - this is all done and working as i expect.
Could we please get some insight on what is possible (or what other organizations may be using) for tracking uptime for our HL7 engine? We can use Activity Tracking to show how many messages went through, but are there any good canned reports (or queries) about the number of message failures or the amount of time that an interface was down?
We are using alerting to the team to know about not getting messages or if messages failed. Has anyone created a report or dashboard against the Ens.Alert table or would you recommend elsewhere?
I tried to import Custom schema with 'Z' segment. I executed "Do ##class(EnsLib.InteropTools.HL7.MessageAnalyzer).Interactive()" in IRIS Terminal.
After executed the steps, i am getting below message, So i could not able to add z segment into my customschema 'Test_2.3' ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Summary Report for workspace C:\Demo\Migration\Workspace Schema is Test_2.3 ALL: 0 matched, 1 unmatched
If you're viewing a HL7 message in the front end, with a schema correctly applied, you can mouse over a segment or a field and see the schema path, e.g:
Mousing over PV1 in the above message shows the schema path is "PIDgrp(1).PV1".
I'm writing a utility function which you pass an EnsLib.HL7.Message into. I'd like to loop through each segment and take action dependant on that schema path. How can I reference or determine that schema path in code?
I'm trying to ultimately create a function that I can use with HL7 messages that calls a stored procedure held on a SQL Server.
Initially I tried extending the function class to use the sql inbound adapter and/or EnsLib.SQL.Common, but this wouldn't work from the class method for the function.
Hi, I have a timestamp of 201906192359 with a HL7 and I need to add a minute to it to get 201906200000. Is there an easy way within Healthshare to do this?

I have a HealthShare HealthConnect operation which uses the EnsLib.HTTP.OutboundAdapter. It is using a custom Operation class to send HTTP Post request. The request data that is sent to the operation and the response back from the operation is not displayed on the visual trace. Is there anyway to display this data in the trace?
Ensemble beginner here. One of the downstream applications requires to send two A02 messages instead of one A17. We do it easily in Cloverleaf - either in translation or TCL. How do I create 2 target messages out of one source message in DTL?
I am playing around with an HL7 business rule set and a EnsLib.HL7.MsgRouter.RoutingEngine component. I'm wondering how I can get the routing engine to fire a rule when a response is received from a business operation.
A newbie question. I am trying to use Data Transformation Editor to transform NTE segments into additional OBX segments. At the moment I am getting both segments OBX and NTE trying to populate a single OBX. Can this be easily fixed?
