In 2017 we had 734 different contributors to Developer Community who posted articles and announcements, questions and answers.

Hi!

You can insert an image in a post with via three ways:

1. Upload it from disk

Drag-n-drop image from your disk to a post and adjust the width after that.

2. Copy and paste from clipboard

Copy the image to a clipboard (Ctrl+C) e.g. from another web page or from any text editor and paste it into the post.

See how it works:

I still find it odd having to go to the DC homepage to get the "Create a New Post" button:

because it's not there when I'm reading a specific group, e.g. at the URL https://community.intersystems.com/group/atelier

Please add possibility to sort posts on 'updated' field.

As I understand by default posts are shown not in order of last update.

The Second InterSystems Global Summit Contest finished yesterday, and we have a new winner!

John Murray has won the prize and showed very impressive contribution activity with the result:

I had typed up a large reply and then learned something new so I intended to hit CTRL+A to select everything and delete it. Can't do that. Apparently CTRL+A, like backspace, causes the input field to lose focus.

I HATE this editor.

In the subscriptions e-mails I get (digested), the URLs are typically wrapped across lines, like:

Hi! I know that we have a layout for mobile devices, but it's broken on the pages with code snippets and another unfixed width content. Screenshots are attached.

I found that overflow property has 'auto' value, but the width (and max-width) property doesn't set for <pre>. Could you set max-width property for pre and other elements?

For example, these modified styles work fine for me on any screens for <pre> and <img> (with your media queries):

The layout of the "last comment/answer" on the list of topics has a line break in it creating bad layout.

Please fix. This fix will tighten up the list of topics displayed

it's so good it's repeating. Not sure why. Investigating.

I'm trying to edit my profile but running into trouble. When I go to the Edit tab, I can see a form for editing appear and then quickly disappear and then the only option I'm left with is this:

If I try to uncheck and save this setting, it appears to save, but when I navigate back it always remains checked.

Any suggestions?

How do I change my picture or avatar

With this release we've done a few things with subscriptions

1. Exposed personalization settings so you can control how and when you receive the email subscription notifications. See the image below

2. The ability to selectively subscribe to email notification for content by Tag. At the top of the "Browse by Tag" page there is a new link to Subscribe with Email.

I use Feedly as my rss aggregater. When I try to add the rss feed to Feedly, it doesn't find anything. I tried "https://community.intersystems.com/group/8046/feed" and "https://community.intersystems.com/group/8046" both.
