I am trying to integrate the Git with Studio. I have followed the below process to achiche Git tab in my Studio for Namespace

But I am getting the below error when I trying to Add the file. GitCodecache is my git repository.

Does anyone NOT use a debugger? I can't remember the last time I did. It's not because I don't dislike them, I just don't need to use them. The main reason for this is because I have a certain development methodology that either produces less bugs, catches them at a unit test level, or makes tracking them down much easier.

Here are my tips...

1. Write your own COS cheat-sheet.

I have a list of %Library.ArrayOfObjects . Each of list elements has some properties. I have to sort list by one of its objects properties. Is there a predefined method to doing that? (quicksort maybe?)

Sometimes you can face the situation when you did update the web app on Caché server but you cannot get the newest version of the app in a browser.

Here are couple recipes which help me to solve it. From simplest to more sophisticated and not obvious.

1. Refresh page in a browser

In Chrome it is Ctrl+R or 'Refresh' button. Obvious, but helpful.

2. Hard reset in a browser

If you are in Chrome, open Developer tools

In my previous article, I gave an example of how to get the own image with InterSystems Caché. Now it's time to launch a project with container.

I have a class. In class there is an index. This index is for quick search on name property.

This class is mapped to some global ^GL(userId) = "Name*other data....****"

And there is also index global ^GLNameIndex(Name, userId) = ""

When I add new User entry through class, f. i.

S user = ##class(User).%New()
S user.Name = "Some name"

calling method %Save() adding new entry to index automatically.

This question is about calling AWS REST APIs. Based on:

AWS requires REST clients to call their APIs using Signature Version 4 which in case you don't know what I am talking about is a pain in the neck. Here comes the question:

Has anybody, by any chance implemented the v4 signing alg. in COS? If yes, would she or he have the kind heart to share?

i installed and configure the cache odbc ODBC-2016.1.1.107.0-lnxrhx64.tar in centos7.

it connected while executing in terminal .(i.e isql -v DSN)

odbc_connect work in executing php shell script in terimal.

but odbc_connect not working in PHP web applcation.

Cogs Library

Over the next few months I will be releasing a number of open source libraries and tools to the Caché community.

Most of the code has evolved from previous production grade solutions over the years and I am collating it together under a single overarching library package that I am calling Cogs.

I have been asked to assist in the planning of the a new server for our database, which we will be changing operating systems from OpenVMS to Linux (RedHat distribution). However, its difficult to find material regarding what would be recommended, which is likely due to the database being proprietary.

In looking at the information provided below and hoping to decrease processing time, would anyone be able to recommend type of configuration we should have for the new Linux server? Please feel free to ask any clarifying questions.

I am using Cache FTP classes to download from a FTP site files, that include zip files.

I can retrieve the whole file into a stream, but it contains a lot garbage.
