We are proud to annouce our latest release of CachéQuality to help you to find and solve coding errors, refactoring, help to follow you coding guidelines, etc. You can check the latest release notes here.

I have finished my 4th book about Caché and MUMPS. This will probably be my last.

I am deeply grateful and humbled for all the help I have received from this group and the WW Response Center.

You all have something very special going here.

As a developer, usually I'm concerned about how my code health is, and how the other coders code can affect to my own work. And I'm quite sure most of us feel very similar.

In our company we use a Static Code Analysis tool to analyze code for different languages to ensure we are writing high quality and easily maintainable code by following a few best practices in terms of code structure and content. And the question was: why should be different for Caché ObjectScript language?

TRIADB is an emerging unique and valuable technology in NoSQL database modelling and BI analytics. The following video is from a presentation and demonstration of TRIADB prototype implemented on top of Intersystems Cache database and driven with a CLI in Python (Jupyter-Pandas). In fact this is the second time in the past year that a prototype based on this technology is implemented and demonstrated. The first one was built on top of OrientDB multi-model database and driven by a Mathematica notebook.

Caché and Ensemble 2016.2.3 are available on the same platforms as 2016.2.2

As Bill has mentioned earlier in his post, we have carefully reviewed the JSON capabilities and made some adjustments to ensure they deliver the best benefit to you. The last version of Caché, Ensemble released for VSI OpenVMS is 2017.1. Unlike HP OpenVMS (Alpha and Itanium), VSI OpenVMS on Itanium continues to be supported. This means that critical corrections or changes required to support customer’s hardware purchases will all be based on 2017.1 or earlier versions.
