Using the Config.Configuration class and SYS.Database class methods, you can create and register a namespace database from the terminal.

Below is a series of execution examples that create database file /CacheDB/AAA/cache.dat and register database AAA and namespace AAA in the configuration file (cache.cpf).

This article presents a potential solution for semantic code search in TrakCare using IRIS Vector Search.

• Code Embedding model

There are numerous embedding models designed for sentences and paragraphs, but they are not ideal for code specific embeddings.

IRIS supports CCDA and FHIR transformations out-of-the-box, yet the ability to access and view those features requires considerable setup time and product knowledge. If you are facing out the license expire warning message on your terminal ("*** Warning: This Cache license will expire in 3 days ***") and you do not want that message to be displayed, you can disable/enable that by rinning the following commands:

Do ExpirationMessageOff^%SYS.LICENSE - Disable

Do ExpirationMessageOn^%SYS.LICENSE - Enable

Description

This is a template for an Django application that can be deployed in IRIS as an native Web Application.

In my previous articles, I described my Command Line Extension to NativeAPI.
Of course, this is also available for any other NativeAPI package.
So I created this example as a demo for the actual Java Contest.

The package contains also an IRIS server in Docker for the demo
It is evident that it also works with any remote IRIS server.
You just have to provide it with my NativeAPI CommandLine Extension.

There are situations when your only access to a server is using a web browser,
and there is just no chance of a Terminal or Console access.
The Online Demo Server is such a case.

So you have WebTerminal. That's fine for ObjectScript and Embedded Python.

This quick guide shows how to serve HTTPS requests with InterSystems API Management. Advantage here is that you have your certs on one separated server and you don't need to configure each backend web-server separately.

Here's how:

1. Buy the domain name.

2. Adjust DNS records from your domain to the IAM IP address.

3. Generate HTTPS certificate and private key. I use Let's Encrypt - it's free.

4. Start IAM if you didn't already.

I am writing this article to tell about the application "CRUD-GLOBALS-IRISNATIVEAPI-JAVA" which is developed as part of "InterSystems IRIS Native API programming contest". The intention of this application is to manage the Globals which are in IRIS instance through java program using IRIS Native API. To use this application basic knowledge of CACHE Globals structure is required.

In this application as of now we have options to Create,View Globals and Data Search in Globals. Update and Delete will be added in next releases.
