The rise of Big Data projects, real-time self-service analytics, online query services, and social networks, among others, have enabled scenarios for massive and high-performance data queries. In response to this challenge, MPP (massively parallel processing database) technology was created, and it quickly established itself. Among the open-source MPP options, Presto (https://prestodb.io/) is the best-known option. It originated in Facebook and was utilized for data analytics, but later became open-sourced.

The IRIS Installation Guide for Linux, Installation Directory section, says "Do not choose the /home directory, any of its subdirectories, or the /usr/local/etc/irissys directory." but there are no suggestions or any default.

What are your opinions on this? For example, I see that IRIS in a Docker container is installed in /usr/irissys. I'm wondering why that directory was chosen.

The official Linux filesystem docs say:

InterSystems FAQ rubric

If you do not specify the option to remove the mirror attribute of the mirror database when deleting the mirror configuration, the database cannot be restored to a normal state and will be mounted read-only the next time it is mounted. To restore the database to a read-write state, you must remove the mirror attribute using the system routine ^MIRROR.

The procedure is as follows (execute in the %SYS namespace):

Hi community members!

Recently a customer ask me about a problem that detected when they were trying to send a post call to an external HTTP service, this service has changed and now it redirects to another URL, so they have setted to true the FollowRedirect parameter (setted to false for POST calls by default), what is the problem? They are sending a custom header in the post call and after the redirection this value is deleted.

a virgin Jupyter-Notebook

Following one package from the last contest I met a strange problem.
There was the requirement to install jupyter-notebook
I work on Windows and there was some old Python installed
No big surprise: Installation of jupyter-notebook failed
Therefore, the latest version of Python was installed fast.

Hi everyone!

If you are working with IRIS 2021+ and you remove all of the built in entries for External Language Servers, there is an unexpected consequence that may prevent you from running an installer to upgrade your version of IRIS. This does appear to be a bug which has been raised with WRC, however there are some people that may have recently removed these settings and then will soon be upgrading their environment and could face this same issue.

I am calling a stored procedure over an ODBC connection and every time I call it there are several warnings written to the log event {Found no Parameter 1 (used as 1) for query}.I seem to be getting this on every query executed and that seems to happen a number of times the query parameters are per query and its filling up my disc.

1) Is there a way to suppress these warnings as the query seems to be executed and data written to the database?

I'm trying to save a list of AccessTokens a user for a specific user. This way I could present it together with other user-data.

I have tried calling ##class(OAuth2.Server.AccessToken).OpenByCode(authCode) from %OAuth2.Server.Authenticate's AfterAuthenticate() method. This only returns things like State and AuthorizationCode, but the AccessToken is empty at this point (afterwards it becomes filled out).

Is there a way to achieve storing the AccessToken as part of the login system?

Being equipped by science and technology, human being have walked a long way by great inventions such as steam-engines or aeroplannes; while after decades, people gradually recognize that single creation could not lauch an industry-boom again. That is why and when, technologies grow up with a community, where are we now=P. An eco-system of technology would be born with the power of a system and grow up with the power of system-science, such as InterSystems, with which seated the letters "s-y-s-t-e-m". Graduated with M.S.
