I have a production that takes in an HL7 message thru a business service. The business service passes the incoming HL7 message to a business process that calls a transform to transform the HL7 message to a message class. After the transform is finished, the business process uses a code block to pass the object created by the transform to a method class that processes the data in the object. What would be the correct syntax for passing in the object to the class method?

Hi,

We need a web-based SQL tool to connect to Ensemble/Cache, that will offer more functionality than what the Management Portal offers.
It needs to be web based, so that we can host it on a machine that has connectivity to the server via the superserver port. We (the devs and support) only have browser access to the environment via Remote Desktops, hence the requirement.

Has anyone gotten OmniDB to connect to Ensemble/Cache? If so, can you please advise on how to configure it?

Any other suggestions for such a tool are also welcome.

Hello

I am running a script from a CMD command line using : C:\CacheSys\Bin\cterm.exe /console=cn_iptcp:127.0.0.1[23] myscript.SCR %CD%

The script should authorize something (or not) in the following lines of the GO.CMD

But How can i return an information from inside the script to the GO.CMD script ?

Any idea ?

Uptime reports for Ensemble HL7

Good morning all,

Could we please get some insight on what is possible (or what other organizations may be using) for tracking uptime for our HL7 engine? We can use Activity Tracking to show how many messages went through, but are there any good canned reports (or queries) about the number of message failures or the amount of time that an interface was down?

We are using alerting to the team to know about not getting messages or if messages failed. Has anyone created a report or dashboard against the Ens.Alert table or would you recommend elsewhere?

I have Mac OSX and Docker Desktop 2.2 (Engine 19.03).

I have a REST service running on my localhost (Mac) and I was trying to consume it from IRIS running in a Docker container.

If you try something like that don't use localhost as HTTP Server setting (using a Business Operation for example).

You have to use host.docker.internal.

We have created a custom SDA container to store a certain kind of new, customized patient data.

We are observing a behavior in the correspoding analytics table for this custom SDA class where rows are added for a patient for which the MPI is null and the patient record does not exist.

This code snippet uses %ZEN.Auxiliary.jsonSQLProvider. The namespace and string of SQL can be edited for different situations. The class method "test" runs the code:

Class eduardlebedyuk.passQuestionParams
{
    classmethod test(pValue = 50) {
        s ns = $Namespace
        zn "samples"
        s tSQL = "SELECT ID, Name FROM Sample.Person WHERE Id > ?"
        s tPR = ##class(%ZEN.Auxiliary.jsonSQLProvider).%New()
        s tPR.sql = tSQL
        s tPR.%Format = "tw"
        s tPR.maxRows = 100

        s tParam = ##class(%ZEN.Auxiliary.parameter).%New()
        s tParam.value = pValue
        d tPR.parameters.SetAt(tParam,1)

        d tPR.%DrawJSON()
        //d ##class(%ZEN.Auxiliary.jsonSQLProvider).%WriteJSONFromSQL(,,,,,tPR)  //same thing
        zn ns
    }
}

error compilation studio

Good morning, employees

I'm having trouble compiling in studio, I already reported it to intersystems support, but it did not solve the problem.

when calling a method of a class by putting $, follows an example:

I just deployed my production from test to acceptance but I found that the deployment misses some Soap Webclient classes which are used by my business operation components. I have used the management portal to create the deployment (i.e. production settings -> Export) and I expected that all classes used by the production were automatically included. Apparantly, that is not the case. Is this default behaviour for Ensemble? And can I somehow force Ensemble to automatically include these classes?

Caché for MultiValue Developers

InterSystems has implemented a broad set of MultiValue extensions for its Caché multidimensional database. These extensions enable the migration of MultiValue applications to Caché and bring the full range of Caché object and SQL development technologies to MultiValue developers. The result: your existing MultiValue investments are preserved, you gain a broad spectrum of highly scalable deployment options, and your developers can combine the best of MultiValue, object, relational, and technologies to extend existing applications and build new ones.

My main goal of this article was to prove the use of InterSystems IRIS for Health for REST FHIR interoperability between multiple applications. In this use case, some initiating application makes a REST call to IRIS for Health (which is merely a passthrough for REST calls) to retrieve FHIR data from an Oracle Health R4 FHIR repository. Ideally, it simplifies the syntax for calling the Oracle Health APIs.

Documentation Issues

Who do we report Documentation issues to?

Since moving to the new format, when searching for things within the documentation I get a blank screen with no results.

When I type in my search criteria, I can see it trying to find results but does not return results.

This does not seem like it is limited to a certain Web Browser, as I have seen this happen in Chrome and Edge

Thanks

Scott

Code Golf: Smiley Faces

It's Friday and a long weekend is upon us, so let's have a round of code golf!

Nowadays, it's rare to find a text message without at least one emoji. 😃😄😎🙂😊😀😁😆😂
But back in the day, people had to be creative to express their emotions in text. They would use emoticons, which are symbols made up of keyboard characters :^) =] ) B).
Our challenge for today is to create a function that receives a string as argument and returns the total number of smiling faces or happy faces.
Each smiley face must have one smiling mouth, which should be marked with ), ], }, D or >.
A smiley face can have a pair of eyes but it does not have to. Valid characters for eyes are :, ;, 8, B or =.
A nose is optional, and can be represented these characters: -, ^, c, o and ~.

Valid smiley face examples:

    :) :D ;-D :~) :‑) :-] =)
    :] :-> :> 8-) :D 8‑D )
    8) :-} :} :o) :c) :^) =]
    :‑D 8D =D B^D

Input

"count how many smiley faces are here :)"

Output
